The mattress was quite uncomfortable and hurt my back.

The bed had a funny smell to it, similar to Parmesan cheese. The bathroom was a little small and the room was a little noisey next to the highway but earplugs were supplied! Or if you have noise cancelling headphones, they did the trick.

The staff were excellent, really helpful and accomodating. Spacious room to store all of our stuff, nice little free breakfast and beach access was super close to the property.

It was noisy, both because it is on the Hwy and because the walls are not insulated for noise of neighbouring rooms (but the Hotel do provide complimentary ear plugs!) It was cold at night and the air conditioning system in the room did not work in terms of emanating warm air.

The location was very good and the staff was very polite. Good coffee is available all the time at the reception and also complimentary breakfast.

The windows being open at the back when I arrived. The curtains are drawn it was late abs it was o my by chance that I opened the curtain. If I had left it open anyone could have step through the window. This made feel very anxious

Service was friendly. The staff member advised us where to dine as it was 9pm at night, good suggestion across the road. My room was comfortable.

I really loved how the receptionist asked if we were celebrating anything during our stay, and as a matter of fact we were celebrating my girlfriends birthday. We ended up receiving a complimentary wine tray with meat and nuts, it was really lovely !

I was somewhat concerned about security given the busy street. It seemed like it would be really easy for someone nefarious to break into the first floor rooms. Would have loved to sleep with the back window open but felt hesitant to do that. It is also a bit noisy on the front of the building close to the street. Next time I would be sure to book a second floor room.

The hotel was charming, very comfortable, and location ideal. The person who checked us in at the front desk was delightful and everything was ready for us. We arrived just in time for sunset and were easily able to dash down the adjacent steps to the beach. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. Landscaping on the property is lush and gorgeous.

Ocean view costs more but the view was blocked by a house under construction which seems like the room should be cheaper. The room is also very small.

Being near the ocean and restaurants was nice. The staff gave us complimentary wine.

This is a nice motel, well kept and well run, nothing fancy. You're paying for the location in Laguna Beach. Our room had a nice large balcony with views of the sunset and ocean, but a row of houses blocks views of the beach or shoreline but the beach is just a few minutes' walk away.

nice boutique hotel .. small room ,bed a little noisy creaking at every move. shower was bad , no pressure and hot and cold water knobs are loose and hard to temper water. (107) property is cute and clean and staff was nice .. would come again if I get a better room with balcony

The rooms were not typical hotel rooms, ours you could see all the way through and the large window in the bathroom was.. different. But the staff seems to be doing everything they can to make up for the strangeness

Traffic outside the inn, old building so you could hear movement from the room beneath us, was a bit noisy but didn’t bother us - they also provided ear plugs. We were offered complimentary wine delivery to our room - would have been a really nice touch but they never showed up.

Loved the location with easy beach access. Was on the main road but a few minutes drive from the center of town. Loved the onsite parking, ocean view suite had a spectacular view. Bed was comfortable! Location and view were excellent!

Front desk staff was very accommodating. They offered a complimentary wine and cheese plate and agreed to bring it earlier than planned so we could have it before going out to meet friends. We were upgraded to an ocean view room, which was nice.

The view was just ok. It was noisy 24/7 from street traffic but after a while you didn’t notice it and we slept fine. The heating system needed to be revamped but it was OK. We did not shiver.

The great location, nice facilities with a big space for the money, there was parking a big plus for Laguna. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was nice. We had a kitchenette which was helpful. Bed was comfortable. We were near the beach.

The half built building between the hotel and the ocean is an eye sore and seems to have been abandoned. The noise from the road can't be ignored. The water flow in the shower is weak.

The rooms probably need a little bit of tlc and definitely need better sound proofing as we could clearly hear our neighbours chatting (amongst other things!).

The staff were super friendly and efficient. The bed and bedding were super comfy. The main Laguna shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance, as are the beaches and Heisler Park. The best restaurant in Laguna (in my opinion), Selannes, is just across the road!
