They didn't hold a tour the day we were there and we had been looking forward to that. I enjoy walks when I vacation - they didn't have any trails on the property so you had to get in your car to go somewhere nearby.

The breakfast was good, but a little pricey; the hot omelettes were great. The benches placed near the lake were nice and they had a great firepit to sit around in the evening. The beds were very comfortable.

On the 2nd night of my visit, my television kept freezing. Daniel from maintenance did try to fix it but stated they were overhauling the system to a new carrier. I was one of several complaints. Was not told the River Room restaurant would not be open. Bathroom, yet clean, had broken window shade, broken tiles by towel and the toilet paper was behind you when you sit down. Ceiling had water stains. Room at end of hall, next to balcony. Had to keep curtain close so nobody could see in my room.

Iris, the desk clerk was very helpful. Cara the historical tour guide was very pleasant. I enjoyed my mini massage. For the most part, the room was pretty clean. Spent all my dining at the Gem& keystone Tavern. Tommy and Logan were wonderful servers. The food was delicious.

The hotel was a bit dated there were parts of the wall in our room that were scuffed, the elevator was very dark and scared my son and the shower height was clearly set up for people much shorter than myself (I’m only 5’ 10”)

The location is great and the staff was very friendly, the price was great for what you get and the beds were comfortable.

The room 224 has a very thin wall connected to the room next door so just be aware of that depending on who stays next to the room it can get noisy and you hear everything!

The staff is amazing and very accommodating! Clean for the most part the bathtub had a little stain but the room was spotless. Bakery and the river room are both amazing options to eat at! I highly recommend!

The room was very “standard,” with no frills. Very little places to hang things like towels, jackets, etc. The maids did not remake beds during the day. The cafe was out of chai tea the entire length of stay (3 days). The pool was not stocked with towels, you had to ask or wait for staff to bring more.

The location to Shawnee Mountain was great. The hotel was close to restaurants and even had a great brewery/restaurant right next door. The pool was great for kids! The room had a mini fridge which was helpful when bringing food for kids. The hotel was clean and had a lot of extras - weather permitting. They brought us cookies each night. :)

The only thing I wished they had at the INN would be an outdoor pool for the kids. Otherwise, it was an overall great stay!

The staff was so accommodating, welcoming, and helpful. From the moment we checked in and even after check out. We interacted with Destiny many times and she was so helpful, especially after we realized we left one of our sneaker bags there. She made sure it was located and shipped out quickly.

Air conditioner didn’t work well in our room. Had a window unit that was in the one window when we got there. At night if we had the light on, the bugs got in. Lots of bugs on the ceiling & walls near the window with the ac unit.

Property was an excellent location for hiking & kayaking. Many activities to do at the property.

So, they first put us up in the Delaware lodge. My daughter is in a power wheelchair and they had no ramps so we had to lift her to get her in which meant she couldn't go in and out by herself. Also, when we walked in the room there were flies in the room and we were turned off. We got this fixed by upgrading to the main lodge which was much better but the room was smaller and the beds were smaller so we liked the room in Delaware lodge better, but the accommodations in the main lodge better. Also, the resort was not that handicap friendly. We are used to working around these issues, but normally resorts we have been to are a little more handicap friendly (no automatic doors, not a lot of ramps, a lot of ledges or small steps, etc. Also, while the location is beautiful and the ground upkeep is really professional, the whole place has a falling apart feeling. The buildings need a serious facelift. Peeling wallpaper, chipped paint, aging boards, etc. It just felt like there had been no real maintenance done in a decade.

I liked the main lodge, the golf course, the location, and the meals. It was very relaxing and beautiful and we just enjoyed ourselves while we rested. They also had live music every night so the first night there we sat out on the lawn and ate hot dogs, chips, and listened to live country music.

Knowing I was coming the refrigerator should have been turned on and cold. It was a 90 degree day the air should have been turned on and you would have known it wasn't working. The hotel needs to be updated!

i have been taking my little one skiing annually. I was here last year the floors in the room were scary to even step on as the carpet looked like it hasn’t been cleaned from the 1970s. I recently read a few reviews that said the rooms were renovated and decided to give them another try. I can vouch the rooms are now much better and no more carpet!!! indoor pool and hot tub that closes at 10pm! 5 minutes from Shawnee mountain can’t be beat. the breakfast was great and reasonably priced! I am happy I gave them a second chance and would definitely stay here again for our next trip!
