The pumps on the hot tub were not working properly. When asked if they would turn them I was told that they were. I have been in thousands of hot tubs over my years and I know the difference between a pump on to circulate the water opposed to the pumps that provide aeration and jets. It was like sitting in a large bathtub. I should have eaten beans!

When I got to the hotel I was greeted by a desk clerk who informed me despite having made a reservation online the hotel did not usually have rooms available as they were saved for the Union Pacific Railroad. Not sure why he had to tell me that and I thought it was kind of rude because I had been driving for over ten hours that day and all I wanted was a place to sleep, after all the room was provided so what the heck with the speech?

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, nice television with adequate channels and access to Netflix and YouTube, etc.

pool ceiling was questionable. I worry about the condition. spiders were coming out of the ceiling. some tiles were missing. some were rusty.

Basic motel, no frills. We chose it because they were pet friendly without an outrageous deposit. Paid $15 for my dog to stay, no deposit on my card, no surprise charges. There were hotels with nicer rooms available but pet charge and deposit were upwards of $300, non refundable!

The pool and hot tub were uninviting.

Location off the freeway, spacious room, clean, friendly staff. The room had several mirrors which are a big help to get ready in the morning. There were ample electrical outlets - helpful for charging all our devices. I liked that the sink is outside the bathroom - again helpful when both of us were getting ready for the day. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion in generous sizes.

Bed was not comfortable. Someone was vacuuming on the floor above me at 4am which woke me up. I had a competition that day so it was especially annoying to not get a full night's sleep.

Hotel is somewhat dated, but the room was clean, which is most important to me.

Well, there was a stain on the bed. The manager was well understanding and got it taken care of but the head cleaner made it seem it was nothing. I thought it was a little more, especially with blood stain on the bed. The manager took care of it and got the house keeper on board to take care of it.

The management was understanding and welcomed us like if they knew us. The bar/ restaurant was great. Great drinks and food. Also they had a shuttle if we needed a ride.

It was closer to the freeway but we were not bothered by too much street noise.

It was clean and well kept but it could have used some updating. The restaurant next door, Bob’s, Wes very good. I was a little put out that there w as no breakfast in the morning.

Had to request room service... I understand why because of covid concerns, tv was a fuzzy picture, shower could use an upgrade.

We had reserved a king suite but at check in none available. The staff were helpful.

The beds were comfortable. The room included a refrigerator/freezer unit.

The room freshness. We were told the room was 'non smoking' but there was a slight smoke smell. Other then that, the room was nice.

The location of the hotel was great, staff was very friendly.

Could hear some freeway noise, helps to keep fan on. No breakfast, and have to make a reservation for the pool, spa and exercise room (we did not use). Wear and tear in public areas, and 10s of broken airconditioners were sitting in the parking lot, so looks junky on outside. Key cards did not work a few times, so had to go to front desk to get new ones. This hotel has potential, served our needs, but just not quite there yet. Front Desk person was not very friendly or welcoming

Shilo Inn had the most comfortable pillows and bed of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Towels were very thick, and shampoos and conditioners are really nice. Room mostly remodeled. We have traveled to many places over the past few years and they are trying hard to have good amenities. Easy access off of freeway for the Boise Area.
