We had no TV for the first 3 days of our trip. I called the front desk over and over with no answer. I went to the front desk and no one was there a few times. When I finally spoke to someone they said it’s probably an issue with the entire condo and have me a number to IT. I called and they put in an order…. Never heard back from them. In the 3rd day I finally spoke with someone at the front desk and she called maintenance to come to our room. It was fixed within 30 minutes. This could have been taken care of on the first day but they didn’t seem to know what to do. Very frustrating!! We was on the 10th floor, which wasn’t horrible, but the VERY LONG elevator wait time was insane. Our doors got banged up in the car parking lot and was a nightmare to drive all the 10 floors to our reserved spot.

Our room was bigger than I expected with a great view of the ocean. We was walking distance to Walmart which came in very handy.

The rental need some upgrading and new furniture for price. No one never came to show me how to work the digital washer and dryer. Need at least 3 extra trash bags in each room. Elevators need upgrading to accommodate the the hundreds of guest trying to move about the facility.

Carpet in room was nasty, falling apart and burns. Rm 227 Elevators took forever to get on. Had to get up really early to get a chair by the pool

The food/ bar at the pool was really good. Access to pizza and other items at the hotel and walking distance to restaurants.

The elevators took forever. Getting in and out of the parking garage was a hassle. My wash and dryer were broken the whole stay and we weren’t given any new towels or anything.

I loved the location of this hotel. Easy to walk everywhere you wanted to go and or drive within 10-15 mins to the piers.

The room was a disaster. NOT CLEAN. Ketchup on the wall, mold on the living room, bed area, & shower. AC filter was so dirt it wouldn't get cold. My husband had to remove the filter and clean it himself. Missing decor with exposed screw in wall. Sofa bed was so broken we had to put the cushion under it to not fall through. Wrist band washed off in the ocean and we were told it would be $10 for a new one.. No broom to sweep up sand. Only 2 towels for a 4 person room. Wasn't told about off-site park at $6/day. Had to wait 20+ minutes elevator. Refrigerator/freezer would cool drink. Toilet is loose from floor & doesn't like to flush. Towel bar was torn off the wall but bracket was left. Front desk staff was smug and short.

The location is walking distance to Walmart. Pool is absolutely gorgeous.

The elevators were horrible took forever to get up to our room and the parking deck was equally as bad made our trip regrettable only way I would stay here again is if I was on the first or second floor

The workers are extremely rude. The elevators are a HUGE PROBLEM!!!!!! This is a party place. Rap music was blaring at 8 am in the mornings. If you have little kids, don’t stay here.

Needed more people working check in. Only one person trying to check in many guests. Parking was terrible. Although every unit had an assigned parking place it was almost impossible to fit in our spot. Getting in and out of the parking garage was difficult and at time dangerous due to not enough room. Televisions in our room did not work when we first arrived and no one would answer the phone at the front desk so I had to walk down from the 10th floor to report it. They did get them working the next day but remotes didn’t work. Door to our unit had to be slammed for it to shut all the way. Some of the security personnel at the pool were not very kid friendly.

The furniture and furnishings needs upgrading. The kitchen had some cookware but nothing adequate to cook for a family. The living room furniture was sparse and uncomfortable. The carpet in bedrooms stained. Bathroom fixture need upgrading. Lighting in master bedroom terrible.

Loved being walking distance to enough attractions to stay busy. The size of the rooms was also a pleasant surprise.

We saw three roaches in our room. We contacted front desk and they could not move us due to being fully booked. We were promised someone would come at 10 am next morning but no one ever came nor did they follow up.

We had a room up on the 22 floor.. I am nervous of Heights that was high for me also, my car on the 11 floor that was miserable. The elevator was dangerous as well.

The elevators are awful. You wait very long and most of the time they are full when they finally get to you! One of the security guards was very rude but others were great! The parking is a joke! The parking deck is very compact and we were supposed to have 2 reserved spots but only 1 had our number and the other you have to park in a yellow spot which are very hard to find empty!

The room we had needs a lot of work. TVs missing. Fans didn’t work. Odor. Felt very out of place for the condos amenities. Elevators, good luck. Don’t drive a big truck and stay here. The parking garage is extremely tight, parking spaces too.

Not enough elevators for the building. Had to walk up 20 floors upon arrival with luggage! The room was not very well cleaned. Food still on the carpet. No pillow cases on the pillows! Unbelievable. Random numbering in parking garage. Took some time to find assigned parking spot with super tight parking spaces. Beach rental chairs too far away from the water.

Two of the elevators were broken down the entire time we were there. The wait for an elevator was up to 1 he 15 mins. No choice though when on the 23rd floor. The dryer ran, but didn’t heat. The unit was not clean when we got there, only the sheets were changed as far as I could tell. Hair on the bathtub wall. Quiet time was supposed to be between 10 pm - 5 am - this was not enforced. Location sucked. Only good thing was we could walk next door to Pineapple Willy’s to eat. This was our 1st and last time to stay at this place.

This trip was a disaster. We reached out most of everyday to update the (frontdesk@shoresofpanama.com ) on the ever growing list of things wrong with unit 227. The only items addressed were the kitchen leak and utensils, both fixed and provided respectively at the end of our second day. This unit is a disaster and an extremely poor reflection and representation of the Shores of Panama. 1. First and foremost the unit shown on Booking.com was not in anyway what we received. The appliances were old and not stainless steel plus the view was not of the gulf, it was of trees. 2. The kitchen sink leaked water all over the counter and we could not use the sink for two days. At the end of the second day around 7:00 pm maintenance replaced the faucet and handles to turn water off/on completely. 3. When we checked in there were two spoons and maybe 3 knifes and forks. It took two days for them to bring us cutlery for our family of 4. 4. The bed was way too firm. Honestly it was the hardest bed I've ever slept on and squeaked when sitting down or getting into bed. 5. The ice maker and water dispenser do not work. 6. The microwave was/is cracked all over the place- is that even safe? 7. Carpet is stained, torn, and worn through - we have a baby and cannot have her on this carpet. 8. The washing machine doesn’t progress through the washing cycle. Our clothes came out of the dryer discolored. Our clothes were ruined. The dryer didn't dry clothes either. The dryer had no filter. We are highly experienced at washers and dryers and brought our pods from home. Again, neither worked and ruined our clothes. 9. The remote in the bedroom did not turn the tv on and does not control the volume. There’s no remote in the bedroom to tv off/on or control the volume. 10. We could not use the disposal and nothing was ever done to fix it. The face your maintenance guy made when he tuned it was priceless. Booking.com and Shores of Panama are not impressive.
