The website was a little confusing and made it seem like there would be a hot tub or jacuzzi outdoors but instead was jacuzzi bubbles on a bath tub. Also like another reviewer mentioned there are tons of college kids in this area (which is to be expected, of course) so our first night we did encounter several people yelling pretty loudly outside of the house we stayed in and continued to hear it throughout the middle of the night. It’s not showers inn fault nor can they do much about it but it was one of the only negative things about our stay minus the tub situation.

We loved this bed and breakfast. The front desk attendant was great and helped us with all of our needs and any questions we had, even helped bring our take out meal to our room door. The look and feel of this location was excellent. Definitely felt like staying in a comfy home more than a hotel room which is what we were looking for. Overall happy to have stayed and will be back next time we’re in town for sure.

The only thing that could’ve been better is the TV service. The selections were very strange and unfamiliar to us and just finding our basic channels to watch were difficult. I also miss the blueberry scones! And the orange juice at breakfast could be improved. Go with a fresher option.

The room was beautiful and super comfy! The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was super friendly. Love the ambiance. Love the convenient parking lot and the room with the porch! Also love having a frig and microwave AND the Bluetooth hookup in the room.

it was absolutely lovely. a lot of attention to detail. Room was very large and comfortable. good bed and lighting. breakfast was served at tables in the reception living area, dining room and porch and had 4 choices. would highly recommend it.

TV was hard to figure out. No local news, could not watch the NASCAR race. Items were not replenished I.e. wash clothes, coffee cups.

Only problem was the bathroom sink was draining slow. And the toilet chain on handle came off. But I do building maintenance for a living son it a garden repair for myself. But didn't have tools to repair drain.

The breakfast was delicious ! Especially the bacon ! Great job guys ! The room was totally awesome ! Very very clean ! The porch and swing was an extra joy to relax and cuddle with my love. Excellent stay. I would recommend to any one.

Multiple nights of our stay we could smell cigarette smoke permeating through hallways of the Composers House where our room was. I am unsure if smoking was allowed indoors (I didn’t check that) but in 2021 it’s pretty unique to find that still around, so it was a bit of an unfortunate surprise to us.

Three things: The breakfast was cold each day. Eggs, toast, or huevas rancheros. Cold. Second, the drinks were tap-water warm. Or, Tepid. Not very satisfying for a cup of coffee or tea. Finally, they didn’t clean our room all week. No trash removed, dirty towels left on the floor, etc. we were asked to request clean towels, but they didn’t go in the room to collect the used towels.

The front door for registration is locked at 8p. I was not informed of this in advance. I was at campus orientation all day going into the evening and received a phone call in the middle of a session from Anne letting me know this and asking when I was arriving. I appreciated, at least, that we were able to work around my schedule. The room itself (Lazy River) is right next door to the main entrance to Composer House, so it slammed every time someone went in or out. It's good I wasn't trying to sleep in. The room itself is lovely, but the location of it in the facility is not. Also, I had emailed the property inquiring about parking; no one ever responded until I called and left a voicemail, then Mike called me back.

Terrific location, beautiful space. The breakfast is good, but I would have appreciated a greater selection or even buffet-style offerings. For those going to events at IU, it is close to the West side, but quite far from the East side.

The sink never produced hot water and the shower only had warm water for about 5 minutes. No hot water is a deal breaker for me. My friend in the room across the hall did not have hot water either.

The location is great. The room was comfortable and clean with plenty of space.

Room location (111) was very noisy both nights I was there, 3:00 a.m., Friday night/Saturday morning, and 1:30 a.m., Saturday night/Sunday morning. Room 111 in Composer's House looks out over a "party house."
