How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Was told at Check-In that breakfast was from 6a to 9a. Went to breakfast at 8a (not 8:10, or 8:15 or 8:25). 8am. First thing I noticed was the breakfast/food tables were very clean (almost like, "not in service"). Looked around for biscuits and gravy. No biscuits and gravy, bowl was scrapped nearly clean. Breakfast room attendant was close by, and I asked for more Biscuits and Gravy. "There isn't any more." That was disappointing! And, it was 8am. NOT 8:45/8:50, etc. The other breakfast choices were good and adequate. However, driving in the southeast US I have found that Biscuits and Gravy are on most breakfast choices. And so advised Attendant (think supervisor might have been leaning in entrance to prep area) disappointment. And that it would changing my rating of the place. Also, plenty of noise of washing utensils etc. Like, Breakfast was nearly over. That single incident changed my attitude about this lodging. That being said, I began seeing issues (like the soiled toilet bowel near the Reception Desk was STILL soiled as it was the previous afternoon (certainly had not been cleaned/or checked). I remain curious as to how 'no more biscuits and gravy at 8am changed my view of that lodging so much.....
We checked-in early and front-desk woman was very pleasant and helpful. Very good First Impression. Place looked fresh and inviting. Everything nearly perfect for this 'level of lodging.' Later that same evening I stopped by and let the woman at front desk I would be giving the place a very good rating. Would I stay there again? Absolutely: Yes. And would recommend (with qualifications under "What didn't you like?").

A nice place for overnight, if you travel from or to somewhere. In the middle of food places and even close to the highway it was not noisy.

We couldn't hook our Playstation to the TV to watch our own movies. We had to watch standard cable, which was okay but still...
I loved the cleanliness and how spacious the room was, the rate was decent also, not too cheap and not too expensive.

Thermostat was not functioning properly the first night however staff fixed it as soon as we notified them. Thank you.
Staff was friendly and responsive. Facilities were clean and neat; bed was comfortable.

most cleanest and nicest and friendliest place for my family to stop by on our way to orlando. we come to this hotel every year and they accommodate us perfectly. also the water is always piping hot and awesome pressure. pillows extremely comfortable.

We requested to be separated from other guests because of noise and because my husband suffers from PTSD. We were told that they would fill floors 1 and 2 before putting anyone else on 3. After getting to our room discovered there was someone in the room right next to ours whom we heard every night we were there! And throughout the week there were several other rooms filled even though the first two floors were not full. Also the night clerk and some man took their smoke breaks right under our room and didn’t think anything about keeping their voices low so as not to disturb the guests. And on one occasion smelled marijuana coming from them.
Room was a nice size and clean.
