Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesThe Indoor pool was very cold, spa was a little too hot but tolerable & the lights came on After pool closed. Room layout was strange with the desk blocking the walkway. Room could have been much cleaner (dirty bathroom mirror & ice bucket, comforter was stained. Overall aroma in the room upon check-in was not fresh, but we had spray that made our stay better). Breakfast needs some work (eggs were wet/runny, ancient microwave, should add fruit). They started to vacuum hallways & outside breakfast area before 9am.
Location was very conveniently located (near UTSA, 6 flags, etc) and cost effective for someone on a budget. We were happy that there was an indoor pool and that breakfast was included. I would stay here again for those reasons and for the friendly staff.

United StatesRoom was dirty and grimy. We asked for more pillows and blankets and we were given a pillow that was rancid smelling and a dirty blanket. The linens on the bed were questionable. The pull out sofa mattress had stains on it. We were grossed out. There was a sweet older lady at the front desk with purple hair but very unprofessional that she was not wearing a bra and her nipples were showing.
