Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesIf they had "minus stars," I would have selected -4. This place is not as advertised. Nasty. I guess it used to be a "smoking" hotel and they are doing renovations, but I don't see no renovations being done. Smells like cigarette smoke and has a nasty funk to it. TOTALLY NOT WHAT THE PHOTOS ADVERTISED. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager made it right, in some aspects. She explained they were renovating, but it wouldn't start until after November. She offered to change my room to a room that was previously NOT a smoking room. I understand that it's not the employees fault. Customer service was amazing. But there is only so much they can do, with what they have to work with. I'll be contacting upper management, to get some type of a refund. Those rooms are not worth 140.00! They knew that people had no other choice, being that all other hotels were already booked. I would wait until after November, if you want to stay there. Depending on how Windgate handles this really bad issue, will tell me if I continue staying at Windgate hotels Good luck

United StatesRoom and halls smelled bad like cigarette smoke and stale air. Windows in room don’t open and staff placed an air freshener in the room which was ineffective. Bed was too soft and most tv channels did not work. Even the jacuzzi in our room had just two of six working jets.

United StatesWhere do I start? This is a old Sleep Inn with a Wingate sign draped over it. It is in sad shape and very bad advertising for Wyndham. I have never stayed at a hotel even close to this bad under the Wyndham banner. The shower was unuseable for dirt and just looking gross. There was food in the fridge left by the last guest. the hallways smell of a musty old place and the carpets are torn and filthy. This is me being kind trust me. Don't stay here!!!!
The biggest plus to this hotel was it's access to the interstate. Breakfast was very blah. At least they could offer a dark roast coffee.

United StatesMost of the staff working there was very bad attitudes but one main woman her attitude was horrible and she was VERY rude multiple times on the check in of July 4th... There was no sense in her being as rude as she was multiple times and we was going to leave and find somewhere else to stay bc of her but decided to stay that night then never again bc of her... But yet she was treating us this way as guests trying to check in but another guest who checked in she didn't know at all she offered him to use her car to go to the store and everything wow that's unprofessional completely... Hopefully something can be done about her bc she was completely out of line... Also the pool room was so cold from the AC that the water was freezing, and the food was not kept up on at times the biscuits were in the thing to get but was hard and cold and it said eggs everyday but they didn't have them everyday... Also for the price of the king suite with jacuzzi they don't clean that room as much as they should the jacuzzi was filthy and the shower looked horrible... I was literally sick the next morning and I swear it was from soaking in that filthy jacuzzi and I was puking and everything... SO I'D LIKE TO BE REFUNDED FOR BOTH NIGHTS I STAYED!!!

Did not stay there, it was so dirty I seen crumbs of food in plain site . Bugs and eggs from bugs in air conditioner. The hallways were so hot it felt like a scary movie. The gentleman was very nice, but the rooks are run down 100% It use to be a nice hotel ,dnt know what happensed but it needs to be remodeled and better housekeepers, bc food crumbs were everywhere.gum stuck to carpet. Disgusting.

United StatesThe air conditioning unit was inoperable, as was the in-room coffee maker. If the coffee maker worked, there was only a pack of decaf to use. I don’t think there was functioning ac in the hallway on our floor either. Common areas need more frequently cleaning. Elevator and stairwell floors in particular. Just bc the surfaces are old doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be cleaned. This was a super low price stay, so knew this one was a gamble, but still didn’t expect we were giving up a functioning ac. We did not request to move bc we arrived late, after long travel and did not discover the ac issue until after unpacking. Too much effort for elderly parent who needed to get to bed asap. Tried to just suck it up but without ac it was not a great stay in that room. If the ac worked, then it would have been an overall meh stay that lived up to the low price.
Most staff are genuinely pleasant. The petite woman at the front desk when we checked in at night was lovely. Breakfast was very nicely done. Nice soft towels. Beds and pillows decently comfortable.

United StatesThe room was dirty and had mold in the tub. There were 2 towels, 2 rags and 1 hand towel. The hallway smelled of mildew and pets. There were holes in the sheets. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and there were 5 throw pillows, no real pillows. The tv was small, the mini fridge was loud and it was just a bad experience all around. I would never recommend this property to anyone.
Location was close to my event. Price was reasonable.
