How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Temperature didn't seem to align with thermostat consistently. Some areas seemed to get warmer, while other spaces stayed chilly despite setting thermostat higher. Small thing of laundry soap would be a nice addition to provide with washer and dryer in unit.
Location, layout and furnishings. Extra linens were nice. Cart and soaps in bathroom were wonderful. Nice to be able to walk to so many places nearby. Brewery tour picked up right next door which was nice to not worry about getting to and from that type of activity.

Great clean place to stay with some reasonable restaurants close by. Close to the main entertainment in Nashville.

there was no access to any sort of tv, the Roku/firestick/whatever it was wouldnt connect and so we had no access to any tv channels, overall this didnt really matter, but would have helped a little
the local area (if a little out of downtown Nashville) is really nice, we arrived during a thunderstorm so exploring was limited, and i was rather ill so spend most of the time there in bed trying to shake off a cold, but the apartment is stunning, parking and entry was simple enough, no complaints

The guest(s) staying in the apartment above us were very heavy footed, we could hear footsteps all evening long. And then large objects (suitcases?) being dropped on the floor in the middle of the night (3 am). The bedding was very nice but the mattresses were a little too soft.
Having the four bedrooms, each with it’s own bathroom was wonderful.

The balcony was nothing like the piictures I viewed when renting the place. Picture was very deceiving. The trash can by the parking garage had an extreme amount of trash surrounding the can and overflowing. Not very welcoming and seemed a little sketchy.
No breakfast was offered. We had a 4 bdrm apartment with a full kitchen. Wonderful!

The apartment was quite dirty, they shall put more attention on the cleaning. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi (we were not able to connect). I’m sure it was a temporary thing, but they did not manage to solve the issue.
The apartment is really big and new. It has all the forniture you might need and it has also a big garage where you can park your car for free

only a few parking spaces on site
It was a large place with room to move. It also had a bathroom for each bedroom, making it easy for everone to get ready. Location in East Nashville with plenty around it. Also a short uber to Main st.

The door from the bedroom to the living area was not good, and the door from the bedroom to the bathroom was not good either.

Floors need a good clean, feet were black walking around. Air unit in cupboard was like a fighter jet all day and night, ear plugs and ambient noise machines provided but didn’t help. Fan light in one room connected to the room above or there was a ghost turning light on and off all night. Only one window on whole place looked to outside sunlight, balcony went to building wall next door that had been vomited on.
Place was massive and laid out well. Place to cook and clean was fantastic.

The A/C wasn't working and after speaking with two different people through the app we were told a fan could be provided until maintenance could fix it the following day. Unfortunately, wherever the team member delivered the fan was not the correct address as we were up until 3am waiting. A picture was provided showing where it was delivered and I replied with a photo of our front door showing they had the wrong location. We ended up going to bed rather than waiting any longer. Also, our kids ran around barefoot and came up with completely black feet leading me to believe the floors aren't being adequately cleaned. There were also crumbs around the dining table and bar chairs.
Loved the location and everything looked updated. Nice furniture

Some of the towels looked dirty or had stains on them. It was a little noisy with people going down the hall and the neighbors.
The place met my expectations, it was nice and homey. The location was perfect. It had all the amenities we needed.

the door to the bathroom from the bedroom has a huge gap and there wasn't a lot of privacy.
Location was great! we were right in the 5 points area. It was clean and quiet.

Parking very few parking spaces and they were tight. At night people from nearby bars would park in the garage because they knew no one would tow them at night. We heard the people above us walking around but It wasn’t horrible.
Everything was clean and it looked new. Beds were very comfortable. Location was central to just about everything

Big skip bin directly beside the balcony smells a bit and bin truck came at 6.30 and woke us all up.
Very clean and easy to deal with when i had questions. App and verifying was a bit of a pain but easy once done. 10min uber to the main strip. Underground parking. Apartement was huge.

The noise was ridiculous at times and could hear literally every time someone walked above us .
