Could really use a sofa. It's either the bed, or one of the chairs but they're not really meant for relaxing the way a sofa is. A cupboard to put the trash bins in would make for a nicer stay, too.

Location was great. The 7/11 in the same building made night arrival much more comfortable, no need to hunt for a grocery store. The washer/dryer made packing much lighter, too.

I contacted Sonder regarding a few needs. Initially, since we were staying for 3 nights, there was only enough coffee for one night stay. I got no response to my requrest. Not a huge deal, we went out for breakfast every morning. Again, we ran out of TOILET PAPER and there was NO SPARE ROLL. Reached out to Sonder again and was told they would take care of the reequest within 12 hours. Good thing there is a store below the apartment. Not pleased with the responsiveness but loved the apartment overall and would definitely stay again.

The Apartment was in an upcoming neighborhood. You can park your car and walk to so many places to eat and drink. The Hockey arena and Baseball stadium are also very close. The Apartment is modern, very clean with upgraded appliances, even a washer and dryer which was great feature.

The rug on the floor was awful. Do NOT put any clothes down on it. It sheds fibres as though someone has just shaved their head all over the floor, and they got in all our clothes and was horrendously uncomfortable! Probably our fault for chucking clothes on the floor, but still! Literally my ONLY complaint though, everything else was absolutely perfect.

Everything was amazing, the view was incredible, it was super quiet, the water pressure was brilliant, it was right next to everything we had planned to do, the security was great, no issues getting in, was perfect.

The deadbolt on the front door didn't work, it was able to be pushed in from the outside. It was a bit difficult to figure our which Roku the TV was connected to since it wasn't listed, but once we clicked through a few we figured it out and were able too cast from our devices to the TV.

Very lovely stay! The space was well-decorated and very clean. Lots of space for my friends and me, and very well located downtown. I loved that the sheets in the closet were labeled as being clean and there were lots of extra towels, and product dispensers in the shower. Large and spacious entryway as well.

Curtains/blinds. They fell down and I put the pole back… but the 4 sets blinds and curtains do not meet in middle and so room is light at sunrise.

Location. Washing machine/dryer. All facilities are excellent. Great room.

The biggest issues were that our first day and our last day, the hot water was broken in the building. It was cold downtown and a hot shower would've been perfect after a day of walking around in the cold, so that was the biggest inconvenience. The Sonder team was able to reimburse a fair amount for this issue. The other compliant is that it was a little loud in the hallways. We can hear all the neighbors talking as they walk by and doors slamming.

Location was perfect and close to all main areas of downtown Detroit. The unit itself was clean and provided everything we needed for the stay. We also felt safe with the security and door code.

Place was dirty - floors, upholstery, towels, toilet, dishes. I didn’t even want to walk barefoot or sit on the sofa. Had to wash silverware before using it. Lots of noise but I brought my own ear plugs. Also curtains don’t keep light out. For the price, this is unacceptable.

Location was great, very central. Great view of the old county building. Restaurants nearby and 7-11 downstairs. Security in the building. Place was spacious for two people/bedrooms.

The location was close to a lot of restaurants and parks. The room itself was clean and well stocked, from shampoo to plates and cups. Was very impressed.

It was no sound barrier to the outside noise at night ( sirens, people walking by) made it difficult to sleep soundly. - how to access luggage storage at arrival should be a highlight of the check-in process. It was not easily apparent that the door code could be used to get into the building before check- in time to store luggage. There were other guests who were experiencing the same because we saw them standing outside with luggage looking confused and offered to tell them they could use the door code.

I enjoyed location as far as walkability to coffee shops and public transit. The 7-eleven below was convenient for late night snack runs. Felt centrally located to all the activities we had planned.

The street noises were annoying at times but much less noisy then I expected. Main noise was on the weekend. Noise was from cars going by with radios blasting and large groups of people singing. (There was no people making noise outside the 7-Eleven that other people have complained about.)

Great view from my spacious 9th floor room. Very clean. Convenient location for public transportation. Sonder staff very quick to respond to the "chat" function when I had a question. City Mkt was only a block away with groceries and prepared foods. The room came supplied with a white noise machine but I never had to use it. Nice gesture though. I also enjoyed reading the Berry Gordy autobiography that they provided.

Lots of chips and nicks in the cabinets and furniture. Some maintenance items like missing trim and peeling paint are easy to fix but haven't been. Some areas in the room were dusty and needed a wipe down. The blinds and curtains in the room are completely useless. Lots of street light coming into the room in the middle of the night. Some homeless individuals outside the door but they kept to themselves and security and police are everywhere. Never felt unsafe at any point.

Very spacious room. Full kitchen and laundry which although i did not use, was nice to have. Bed is super comfortable. Very central location with convenience store right next to the property. Not nearly as noisy for me as some of the other reviews stated. Just normal city noises you'd find anywhere. Good dining and coffee options very close. Some inconveniences (below) but given the great price, size of the room and location, I would probably stay here again.

All good.

Great location downtown. Easy and secure access to the building and the apartment. Well furnished, clean and spacious. Bed a little uncomfortable, but fine for 2 nights. Parking outside the building is free from 6pm to 8am and either use the secure lot next door ($10/day no in/out) or park across the road for 2 hours on a meter. Plenty of parking structures nearby.
