Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The hotel is under construction in a lot of areas and at first it was difficult. We changed rooms two times till we finally got a room that was in good condition. I have to say that the staff particularly a woman name Char was very very helpful and made the situation much better. Very good location

United StatesThey should definitely consider offering dressers in each room!!!!! We were unable to put things away without having to hang them up. Also, for the price, I think breakfast should have been complimentary. Having to pay $22,00 per person for a sub par breakfast isn't a good reason for a return visit.
The room's location was perfect. It was very close to the elevators, which was very convenient. Also, we loved the fact that we couldn't any street noise. The windows were virtually soundproof.

United Stateswhen we arrived we were told that the water would be shut off from 8am-3pm the next day. Understandably, it was not the hotels fault (city issue) but a heads up would of been nice instead of letting us know as soon as we got there. It’s a bit pricey for the average looking rooms and under average looking hallways; but I guess you’re paying more for the location which was great. there was only a microwave downstairs, which was kind of a pain. Microwave in the room would of been great. A small dresser would of been nice too, instead of having to dig through my luggage everyday. Overall, it’s aight.
-bed was comfy -view was nice (21st floor) -in walking distance of anything/everything you’d need -staff was super sweet. (Rick the bartender was awesome) -lobby/bar was warm and welcoming

United StatesWe were given a wifi code, but we had lost it, so when we called to get a new one, the guest service agent spent nearly 30min trying to tell us the log in and it wasn't working at all. We ended up using our mobile data, which was annoying. Kind of a stupid process, they should just have a password... It was a pet friendly hotel and there wasn't an area to take your dog out to use the bathroom. We ended up having to walk about 15 min to a patch of grass. Understandably because it is a city, but there should be a green space for a dog friendly hotel.
Great location, well renovated modern and comfortable room, the best rate for secure parking and dog fee in the downtown area.

United StatesWas surprised that there was not a microwave in the room. Parking price was a insane especially since it was disgusting. Elevator was a disaster. It would take forever to come and if someone got on after you going in the opposite direction it would bump you. Went up and down a few times to get to the 19th floor that we were on. Quite frustrating. Whole place smelled like pot. For the money I wouldn’t stay here again.
The location was great and room was modern but nothing special.

United StatesIt was so over priced. We stayed in several different hotels in Colorado including the Hyatt next door and they were all nicer and cheaper! The breakfast had very limited options and was not good and it was $22 a person. The parking was self park and more expensive that the valet parking next door. The room was clean but needed updating. It looked and felt so cheap but was the most expensive place we stayed.
The staff was pleasant. The location was excellent. The room was clean.

United StatesMy room was right near the elevator and the view was of a side the neighboring building. No housekeeping during the stay. I had to call the front desk when I wanted more towels or toilet paper. Elevators were kinda slow. Saw more guests without masks than with them.
The hotel is nice, but be prepared to spend some $$$ to pay for the stay. Location is downtown so it was where we wanted to be. Bed was comfortable. Employees were wearing masks. I would stay here again if I ever visited Denver in the future.

United StatesThe room was gloomy and over lit simultaneously. and the view of the parking lot was a giant bummer. Our sink was clogged the entire time and the lobby bathrooms smelled like raw sewage. Maybe plumbing issue? Breakfast was expensive $22 for a “buffet” with barely anything there. I did appreciate that the cost included tax and gratuity. The pool was closed even thought it was 90°. Lobby bar / restaurant had great potential but the bright white lights everywhere killed the ambience.
Location was great for exploring Denver. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in and I travel a lot. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lobby space was great for working remotely.

United StatesI was on the 8th floor. It took over 15 minutes to get hot water every time. I realize this is a new company and probably don't have my past stays at this location. When it was Crowne Plaza, I was upgraded automatically. Here I was given a room overlooking parking and the smallest room I have had yet.

Room was small for two queens and a family of four . Desk And chair which wares in front of bed had to be moved every time you walked by because it was so close to the bed and a person couldn’t pass though with out moving it. Minor issue but just a small room as said .

United StatesBed was a little hard at first. Only had one garbage can for a king size room. When leaving your room make sure your door closes all the way behind you. It doesn’t just slam closed
Staff was immediately friendly. Pool was heated and had a great view. This hotel is located a block away from the 16th Street Mall. Where you will find stores and restaurants. After hours you have to use your hotel key to get into the build. You also have to use your hotel key for the elevator. Both for security reasons. I would stay again with Sonesta Denver.

United StatesIn general the hotel needs some TLC. Somebody needs to go through the entire building and fix all the little broken things, lights, ladder at pool, paint touch ups etc. None of the ice machines were working, pool furniture needs to be replaced. Also no little complimentary toiletries.
The location is great for exploring the city and the pool is nice after walking around all day. Beds were comfortable and the staff is pleasant. If the repairs and updates were attended to it would be worth the price.
