The t.v. could have been bigger and could use a t.v. in the bedroom. I would stay again if I am going to he in that area.

Everything was pretty great. Only small critique was I never actually met anyone from the staff, but no big deal at all. Room was ready and unlocked with the keys waiting on the dining table for check-in. Check-out was as simple as dropping off the key with a note to the manager's desk.

The overall look and theme of South Beach Place is awesome! Love the 50's vibe and cleanliness. Our room theme was simple and clean, but had everything we needed (bed, bath, tv, small kitchen, dining table, etc). We'll definitely stay here again in the future.

No tv in the bedroom. the fans were stuck on one speed. Water in the shower took a long time to heat up, but once it did it was very hot. Would have been nice to have a broom, as the floors were all tile and the beach sand got everywhere, and there were no floor mats, either.

Location was perfect. Very quiet part of town with only a short walk to get to the beach. Pet friendly. Staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Lots of privacy. Definitely a hidden gem, as I had read in some other reviews prior to booking this hotel. We would definitely stay here again on out next visit. Very good deal for the cost.

We wanted to tip the cleaning staff but when we checked out at 9:30 a.m., the office wasn't open despite it saying it would be open at 9:00, so we called and were told to leave the keys in the room with the door unlocked. I didn't want to leave cash sitting on the table for anyone to walk by and take so we ended up not leaving the tip. I would have liked a way to lock the door so that it couldn't be opened with a key when we were inside. Just for safety concerns.

I loved that the beach was a quick walk across the street. The pool area was very nice and relaxing. It was a very quiet place. I think the concrete walls help dampen sounds because we heard very little from neighbors and the hotel was full.

While most of the guests were 60+, one family with a crying baby made the pool area less than desirable once they arrived. It was paradise until that point. Not sure what can be done - we all had kids in our younger days, but it was an issue. also the air conditioner in the bedroom, while needed, was quite loud.

This hotel is just a block from the ocean and it is in a really nice (and quiet) area. The hotel is older but it was in very good condition. The hotel is quite nice and there are comfortable chairs out on the front deck in front of each room. Nice restaurants are within walking distance. More than a few guests enjoy wine in the areas in front of their rooms or in the beautiful common areas.

Our kitchen had a very small refrigerator with a tiny freezer that did not work well. The shelves on the door of the refrigerator were useless because the bars that hold things on the shelves were broken off. The hydrator did not have a lid so there was no bottom shelf. The lighting in the entire place was poor. It would also have been nice to have a list of recyclable items for environmently conscious people!

The location was wonderful Close to the beach and close to where I have family. Very quiet. The room was comfortable. They provided beach chairs if you wanted. The pool area was very nice and the water was a perfect temperature. The entire property was very clean. I would certainly stay here again.
