The pet fee if spending more than one night can get expensive. If staying more than one night with my small dog, I probably would not choose this hotel. In addition, there was a lot of noise at 1:30 am with guests partying with loud music. However, after 15 minutes of non stop noise, we called it in and reported to front desk. The hotel staff was very good with the respond time to quiet the area down.

Room was decent and comparable to price range. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach access was pleasantly within walking distance with direct access to the beach without having to cross any streets. Happy the hotel was pet friendly with a fee of $20 per night. Since we were staying only one night it was reasonable.

Garbage cans were over flowing outside and the couch in my room was really stinky.

Great location near the beach, with a private beach entrance! Gift shops, restaurants, and coffee shops in walking distance. I felt very safe here traveling alone. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they made me feel very welcome. Hot water with good water pressure and drainage. The other guests were families enjoying Easter weekend, there were no young college party kids staying here. 👍

Definitely dislike the no vents in the restroom. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool. The noise at the pool area was obnoxious loud . Pool was very packed.

There were no towels near the pool and the breakfast selection was limited. No hot food, except waffles. The rooms cleaning was okay but did find a dead roach in the restroom. There was only one washer and dryer and it was on the opposite side also.

Staff was ok, when manager was ask to ask a fellow guest to have children stop running in room above, his response was, "Welcome to South Padre, everyone comes here to party." Breakfast was ok, was disappointed not eggs or meats.

The room wasn’t exactly the cleanest. There were stains on the mattress and the shower had hair on the walls. We got a text message about being able to check in early and when I called they told me I still had to wait until 3 pm. The AC wasn’t working when we got there and I asked to switch rooms and they said we couldn’t and had to wait for maintenance to come and change our window units. Made us feel like they already knew about the problem but were waiting for someone to complain about it. When I spoke to the manager, the older gentleman, he was ignoring me while another employee was showing him a video on his phone and telling him to send him the video, while I stood there in line at the front desk waiting.

We always stay at this property because we love being able to park our vehicle in front of our room.

No safe in the room, it was listed as an ammenity. Not sure what pool the pictures on the site were from but it sure wasn't this location. Pool was much smaller than indicated.

We were very close to a beach access point which was very handy. Breakfast was probably good but we couldn't stand the lines but the cooks sounded like they were having a blast

The limited parking.

The check-in was fast and simple. The room was already cooling off when we arrived. The bed was comfortable and wasn't that annoying squeaky kind. The breakfast was awesome. The gentleman who served and helped everyone was the best at making everyone feel comfortable and happy.
