The parking was terrible!

My children and I left to go eat dinner upon arriving back the security arm was down on packing garage and you had to call in to get in; cool that’s why we stayed here. As we get through security and driving around we realize there is no parking available. I call the front desk woman informs me sorry they have limited parking and I would have to park off site at an attorney office that they have made arrangements with to accommodate guest who can’t park behind security gate! Wait hold on but you advertise security parking after dark but don’t accommodate one guest per room with a vehicle on site and guest who are traveling with multiple people and cars can get one car park on site the other one at the attorney office off site. I informed the front desk lady of this. She said it’s always a problem. SO IF YOUR TRAVELING TO THIS LOCATION BE AWARE OF THERE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ABOUT PARKING ACCOMMODATION! They want and don’t care about there guest having to park across the street and walk with young kids lounge and trying to get across a busy street at 10pm at night. Bad business stay at another location just down the street that accommodates allllll guest

When I read the reviews on facility and that it was secure parking that sold me. Being 3 hrs from home and travel with my children alone my spouse and I was strictly looking for security. Usually when we come to town for doctors appointments at child mercy we stay at another location but due to me traveling alone with the kids we pick here BUT! Read why this wasn’t the case

The room had a musty smell and the pool could have been clearer.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was nice size, beds were super comfortable and hotel was quiet. Excellent showers and nice soft towels. There was parking on site but there was a fee.

The parking is a bit ridiculous, but it’s what you get with how it’s built.

The selection at the breakfast bar was lacking. The food itself was just ok for a hotel breakfast. I've had better and I've had worse.

This hotel was the prime location for our stay. Close to the Plaza and KU. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. If you want to venture out and don't want to walk defiantly take an Uber so you don't have to find a parking spot on the Plaza.

I really can't identify any shortfalls for this hotel.

The staff was fantastic. They were welcoming and efficient. The breakfast was very good (typical buffet style but with some "elevated" choices. The location is excellent. A short drive from most of the Kansas City sights and about 4-5 blocks walk to the "Plaza." We spent 2 weeks here while visiting our children. I believe this was our longest stay in a hotel so we were a little apprehensive but this worked out very well. We will definitely stay here again.

The parking garage is not free - it’s $15.00 / night / vehicle, and it’s fairly small. Since I was road tripping cross country, my car was pretty full. I managed to find a spot in the very small basement garage, but would have been very upset otherwise - the listing makes it appear they have ample private parking at no extra charge. I found the last spot.

I stayed in a King Suite, and it was incredibly ample and comfortable for one person - there was a couch and living area, a large desk, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Parking is a little tricky in the lot due to space and angle of spots, and it's hard turning to go down to the lower lot when the lot is full (and no room to back up). I came very close to scraping the side of my rental car and needed two people to help me maneuver out of a tight spot.

Breakfast was satisfying with many choices - nothing fancy but good. The location was just right for me. Clean and pleasant all around, with a comfortable bed. Very nice front desk staff. The workout room looked great, but I didn't use it because I was dealing with a head cold. Since I ended up staying in and resting two days of my trip, I appreciated the headache remedies and food available for sale in the lobby (canned soup, Lean Cuisine, chips, candy, etc.)

The incredibly tight parking spaces located up front and in general the small awkward parking garage below. I am pretty small and petite in general but had difficulty getting out the car carefully and uncomfortably not to ding the car next to me.

Location was close to hospital, good eats, Walmart and other great shopping areas.

Had to pay for parking and they stated the lot closed at midnight…which might be an issue for some.

the air conditioner blew right on you at night and I’d get cold and cover up then hot and uncover. I didn’t get a good night’s sleep when I was there. the bed was also a crater bed and the mattress needed to be changed out

One of the front desk agents argued with me when I kindly asked for 2 bottles of small water that were placed in the room, asked her to have 2 more for my 2nd night stay and she argued with me that it wasn't their policy... I did not understand why someone argued with me over two to 6 oz bottles of water.

All other staff members were fantastic, the breakfast was great and the location was outstanding.
