You need to invest in sheets that don't pill. It would be helpful if you would advertise on your website when the restaurant opens for the season. We were disappointed that it was closed.

Breakfast location was great. I lost my hubby one year ago and I was reluctant about traveling alone but the staff was wonderful and I explained I was alone and they sat me at what I thing is the best seat in the dining room. I certainly miss my spouse but I felt so comfortable that I booked another weekend in early April.

Beautiful location right on the bay. The hotel itself has charm that the chain hotels can only dream about. The staff is incredible! Very helpful and incredible friendly. This is one of my favorite hotels in the world now!

Our visit wasn't long enough.

The room was very comfortable but the employees helped make the visit special. We left too early for breakfast and they packed up hot sticky buns and OJ for us to take with us. The buns were hot and it was 5 am.

The Kitchen staff started to play loud music any 7am on a Sunday morning, and my room was just above it. Needless to say, I couldn't sleep until I got out of bed and went downstairs and complained, as there was no answer to the front desk phone line. I had a much higher expectation over the Sunday brunch. Although there was a large variety of dishes, they were nothing to make me remember it. Just average food.

The Staff is just amazing. They go above and beyond to ensure you have what you need.

We loved meeting several couples on the porch on a rainy night. In the rocking chairs meeting new friends for life. Ended up enjoying a day together with one of the couples at Mackinac Island. Then another day with another couple by driving to their home in Wisconsin fro their invitation. Friends now for life with two of the couples from a rainy night that kept many at the Stafford's Inn on the porch enjoying conversations from people from any different walks in life.

The food was absolutely amazing, didn’t matter what it was. Breakfast is included and it’s basically a gourmet brunch buffet, including desserts. You get complimentary bike rental to ride around the town, AND complimentary kayak/peddle boat rental as well, private lake access, great views. The staff treat you like royalty, and the owner is a very humble gentleman and shows up randomly to meet and chat with guests and staff. They even offered to give us a tour of the building and we learned about its history. **The building is very old (1800s) - some floors are uneven and creak. Be prepared for some imperfections. It’s okay, though - it’s part of the charm!

Have to someone confess I missed having a tv in my room, but thats probably a sign we all watch too much. On the other hand, when waiting for someone or a little down time it would be nice.

The hot water was struggling. It was warm, but not hot.

Our room was well appointed and breakfast was wonderful. The complimentary bicycles are nice and we rode downtown.
