I stayed one night at Stay Open before meeting up with family the next day. This place really exceeded my expectations, it was clean, great location with superb views, and I felt safe. The kitchen is fully equipped as well.

This place absolutely exceeded my expectations. I had never stayed in shared accommodation before and loved the concept of semi private facilities and shared space; a great chance to connect with and meet others whilst maintaining your own privacy when needed. The vibe seems to attract cool, respectful people, and this was the ideal space for me to ‘live away from home’ whilst working, whilst also meeting new people. Location is ideal, right on the beach, and the William and David were so welcoming, always helpful and great chat! I’ve already recommended this space to friends and will be back soon when I am next visiting LA :) Charly x

Everything about the property is awesome. It’s a four story beachfront mansion literally on the boardwalk. The bed pods are super cool. No need to feel uncomfortable about that. The roof balcony is amazing.

Literally nothing!

I had a very lovely stay at STAY OPEN. Everything was great! The pods were surprisingly so comfortable and the common facilities were well-maintained all the time. William is so helpful and nice, the place is super calm, the location is so convenient, and everyone was respectful. I also think the place attracts only awesome people! LOVED LOVED IT! Will definitely stay there when I come back!

Staff was soo Nice & wonderful. I love how the place is positioned in away where the living room is facing the back so you can watch the sunset & sunrise without leavin the Hostel. The place is at Vience Beach itself so it's was easy to go wonder around the beach and go back to, it's a 30min walk to Santa Monica is a plus. Lots of cafes, restaurants and gift shop around the area that are all walkin distance. One of the Best Hostels I've stayed in. Would come back & recommend

I liked everything

I loved this place, really felt like home. You’re basically on the beach, with the best view of sunset/sunrise from Stay Open terrace. Clean, quiet, really chill vibe and spacious. Extremely equipped kitchen with everything you need. The pods are very private, I couldn’t hear any noise while sleeping (the broadwalk is very quiet at night) The team was amazing, Camilla, Alina and Dave were fantastic hosts, and all the other guests were super nice and friendly. I honestly can’t find anything negative about my stay. I can’t wait to go back!

Only charging for a early check in. Usually you can let at least your luggage for free. But I understand the space is limited so it’s ok!
