Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Statesit’s literally nothing like the pictures. I had to keep asking the guy if this was the same place. It’s like an abandoned roadside motel with a different name that isn’t lit up and you are not sure if it’s even an operational place. I had to read the reviews to confirm that this was the right place.
it’s the cheapest option around so at least they know they are not good.

United StatesThere was no phone in the room which makes me wonder how you call for room service. There were no blankets. There was no coffee maker. There was no room safe. There were no kleenex although there was a hole in the wall the size of a kleenex box. There was no ice machine on property which meant we had to buy a cooler and ice. Although the staff was friendly they could barely speak English and were extremely hard to understand and they couldn't understand us. The room was not cleaned daily because we had to go to the front desk to get a roll of toilet paper.
The room was fairly clean. The staff was friendly.

It was clean and comfortable but needs a major remodel. Their sign was not lighted. The furnace was old and marred. The inside door bar was broken. It looked run down from the outside with potholes in the parking lot.

United StatesThe bed was very comfortable. The shower curtain was very dirty, this made me uncomfortable. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. I would have liked to have had a hair dryer. I also would have liked to have a coffee maker. But for the price it was ok except for the dirty shower curtain.

ArmeniaThe owner was rude, he was uncooperative when it came to room deposit, and after I gave $54 to rent the room, plus the $30 cash for deposit which he screwed me out of at checkout. He informed me we weren't allowed to have guests in our room at all. So if you like getting ripped off and treated like a five yr old this is your place!

United StatesIf they would have closed their business for good before I had the unfortunate opportunity to pay for a room I didn’t stay in with my two kids.
No breakfast because we didn’t stay because of stains on the bedding along with a bedbug that I killed and left a small blood spot which confirmed it was a bedbug. No breakfast area for breakfast nor was it mentioned during check in. There was nothing I liked considering I had to drive 30 minutes to another hotel.

United StatesWhile some remodeling has been done, our room was apparently still in process. Our toilet was very wobbly and the towels, while smelling clean, were stained/dingy, giving them a dirty appearance. That all being said I was over all very pleased for the price we paid
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, and the AC unit worked efficiently and was surprisingly quiet. You could tell that some remodeling has been done. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful.

United StatesThe place was trying to update some but the bathroom didn’t have a toilet paper holder & didn’t have much toilet paper & no Kleenex & the shower as hair all over it & when I went to check out @ 8:30 the front door was locked w/ a bike lock & had to rang bell & was getting my phone to call when they came by the side of the motel & I just gave a man the key I could have been giving it to anyone
I liked that is was one level my mother is handicap & use a walker & wheelchair
