How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The only downside (truly only) was that it was obviously a smoking facility previously and still smells pretty icky.
Room layout with the kitchenette was fantastic, having two bathrooms was a DREAM as we were there for a softball tournament. Breakfast was hearty and available early, which was helpful for our schedule.

I did not like that they did not carry some basic medicines like tylenol. Other wise the stay was great

Front desk could have been nicer. Customer service and positive attitude with a smile go a long way. There was grit/rocks on the floor in our room. A new vaccuum may be in order. The cleaning people can only clean well if given the correct tools. Could put extra shampoo in the room if it's it's suite.
Breakfast was fantastic! Loved the buffet. Place was clean. Room was spacious even for a family. Liked that we were all in one room.

It took awhile to get checked in, but only because there were several other people checking in at the same time. The staff was very nice.
It was really quiet even though there were a lot of guests. The pool was a very nice size. The room was very spacious and the beds comfy. We were very happy with our stay!

Maybe more choice for the breakfast but other than that I really have no complaints.
The breakfast was okay. It was convenient and handy to use. We had originally booked online for the Suburban Extended stay. Then they phoned us to say we did NOT have a room. They said they had rooms at the Days Inn (right next door) and gave us a couple of choices. We were able to book a king room. It was very nice. We were still able to use the pool which was great for our grandkids so we enjoyed that. It was very nice and quiet in our location. We were happy that the staff worked with us and made everything work out. We will definitely try to use this location again. Might even try for the Days Inn as it worked out so well for us.

Breakfast was bad. No choices, cold, no flavor. Rented 3 rooms with 6 keys, 3 different times all 6 keys stopped working. Then, the front desk gave us keys to other people’s rooms. Said it was a problem with our doors. But to all 3 rooms. HVAC didn’t work in one of the three rooms. Restaurant was shut down. Lounge was shut down. Front Desk repeatedly had us wait for someone else because they didn’t work at the front desk we were staying at. They worked for the other company?????

My original room reeked of cigarette smoke and so did the hallway as soon as I entered building. Also some of the lamps didn’t work. Was originally in room 228. Requested I be moved. I was moved to room 301 on the Quality Inn side. Much better but only only one light bulb in each room. Almost stuck my fingers in the empty light socket. Very dangerous! Room needs updated lighting. Too far from food and other shops.
The staff was friendly enough and moved me to another room right away as requested. However, will never stay there again

Nothing to complain about!
The breakfast was really good with lots of variety. Kudos to the chef. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Everything was clean and nice. The room was great, spacious and well furnished. We really enjoyed our stay.
