The overall condition of the hotel is somewhat questionable. The room had recently been painted but there were a lot of spots missed especially trim areas. The bathroom has had water damage that was never repaired, just painted over. The baseboard trim was pulling away from the walls. A real, in depth facelift would serve this property well.

The location was perfect for our visit to the area! The room plumbing was a pleasant surprise! Lots of hot water for showering/ cleaning. The drains all worked amazingly well for a hotel on the beach! The in room refridgerator worked well. The beds were comfortable. The view would have been beautiful if the weather had cooperated!

The beds were not comfortable. The bunk beds felt like they were just springs. The free breakfast wasn't anything to write home about. It was just breakfast bars and not so good coffee. We ended up going to a restaurant nearby.

I loved the location, right on the beach. The staff were so pleasant and really helpful..

The elevator was not working. We had to carry all the bags by ourselves to the 3rd floor.

The location is pretty nice. The beachfront look was great.

The elevator to go downstairs didn't work, but it worked going up. The heater didn't work in the room and the Wi-Fi was awful. Some of the channels did not work and the water to take a shower was lukewarm.

The view from the balcony was amazing. The staff was very helpful and polite.

The rooms were clean but there was no broom or bare minimum necessities to help keep it clean. (Sand) Cleaning service only made it to our room twice in our week stay which was not enough. Plus we never had enough towels or easy access to them. That was an issue I had never dealt with before staying here. It's a decent ace for the price but be prepared to spend alot of extra money for things Just so you can have them at your convenience.

It's fair to say that the overall the place needs some repairs , the shower did not work so we had to take baths, there were a few outlets pulled out, a few things here and there but if safety is your main concern, hand railings and steps, railings on the balcony and locks were all sturdy and secure so the other things weren't that big of deal, remember you aren't paying top dollar, you're not getting a perfect room and amenities, the pool is NOT heated, they provide coffee and wrapped cereal bars and pastries, there are snack and drink machines, if this is enough for you then you will be happy with it, if you're looking for a top notch luxury stay it may be disappointing, personally, I was here for work for 2 days and brought my kids, 15, 9 and 7 so they could hang out and enjoy the view , and pick up some shells to take back home so this was great for us .

Location is excellent , it's located in Laguna Beach area, pretty quiet area, not very busy at all (keeping in mind this is late November) you can walk right down to the beach, the kids love watching the water from the balcony, room is comfortable and beds which is honestly more than I expected.

As a low-maintenance solo traveler, I noticed some things, and they didn't bother me too much, but FYI: My room had a coffee maker, but no supplies. No soap/shampoo, etc, in the bathroom. There was a high bar installed with 3 stools but no other place to sit except the bed or on the balcony. The elevator for building 1 was extremely slow, and I am not 100% sure it worked as I did not wait to find out. The beds were not very comfortable. The outside of each building is in much need of repair. The air-conditioner was on the beach side of the room, so the inland side did not get as cool, and my room did not have a ceiling fan as I noticed some did. There was coffee in the common area, but I did not notice any type of creamer provided, though I did not ask. At the end of it, I would probably stay here again off-season.

The interior room furnishings were updated, and I appreciated the kitchenette. The room smelled and appeared clean. I enjoyed the longer distance from town. I liked the adarondak chairs provided for balcony sitting with a great view and distance to beach. Honestly, my expectations were a little low as I did read reviews prior to booking, but (for me, at least) it wasn't a bad experience.

The exterior needs upgrading… concrete and the wood decking on the beachside needs replacing. The rooms are clean and nice just the exterior needs work

When I booked it said it was a double Queen room with two queen beds they were double beds

The bed was not the best, and the elevator didn't work the best either.

Absolutely LOVED the view. It is on the outskirts which was amazing because we didn't have to worry about to many people on the beach. Worth the drive for sure.
