Lack of electrical outlets. Extension cords inadequate when running microwave and coffee maker at same time, for instance.

Great location near beaches, shops, restaurants. Very helpful owner offering plenty of information and local knowledge. Unit had everything we needed for a relatively short visit.

Beautiful location with lots of character. Utilities like free & easy parking, equipped kitchenette, washer dryer access made out stay very comfortable. Mark is a standout host, very responsive and available.

The owner contacted my guests for payment even after I asked him not to as I was going to make all the payments. He strongly preferred NO credit card use and texted us about using alternative payment methods. It was a bit annoying. Our room had an overwhelming scent of some kind of air freshener and poor ventilation. The manager told us it was cleaner and the scent would go away - it didn't. We had to keep the wall unit air conditioner off a night as it was loud.

The location is in a quiet neighborhood, away from Duval Street, yet close enough to walk or bike there. The grounds are kept up nicely.

many hidden fees including an additional processing fee with credit card payment. host would not communicate through booking app and would text at all hours requesting cash payment. walls were paper thin, we could hear our neighbors very easily. the room was tight even with just two guests in the room and towels were scratchy. shower water temp was unpredictable, seems to be an issue with the faucet.

the bed was comfortable and we used the iron. thank you.

Realizing it was a holiday weekend, we understand the jump in prices per night in Key West. With the being said, our room smelled like the pucks you put in the shower when you’re sick. Speaking of shower, ours had one of the black rubber work mats in it. When we stepped into the shower, we felt like we were going to drop through the floor. Removing the mat, we saw the shower floor had been fixed with a plastic covering and waterproof tape. Before we even checked in, the owner text us, telling us we would be paying 4% in charges because we booked on booking.com if we paid with a credit card. To charge over $900 for 2 nights, the value we got for our room, was not worth it to us. I cannot find on the website that says we would be charged this 4% if we used a credit card at check in. Being a groomsman in a wedding that weekend, we had a rehearsal at 3 pm. although we did see we would be charged $10 per hour early Check in, we were hoping this would be waived checking in at 2, and considering our situation, and what we originally paid for the 2 nights. The walls were pretty thin, and trying to get a good nights sleep on the rock hard flintstones bed was difficult. The pool was referred to as the “Cocktail Pool” which is accurate considering I’ve had cocktails bigger than the pool.
