The price of every hotel in Manhattan is quite expensive.

Everything is good. The hotel is located in the Chinatown area which makes us feel comfortable. The room is clean and big. Breakfast is good.

The breakfast was probably the worst I've experienced. Cold eggs, toast must be put through toaster 3 times to be barely toasted. Minimal choices.

The room could have been bigger (family of 4), but we still fit. There are no good restaurants nearby.

Very clean room. Good location with metro access. The breakfast is a little different from what is usual in Europe, but there is a wide selection and you can fill up well at the beginning of the day.

Not enough room at breakfast, too many guests and not enough tables. We had to bring our breakfast back to our room on the first day...

Great location, room was OK, clean and quiet. It's close to 2 subway stations and very handy to go visit the main sites.

The noise by the trains and cars on Manhatten bridge is pretty loud, but bareable. The showerhead is fixed at an angle, making it a bit awkward to use (which somehow is common in American hotels for whatever reason). The breakfast buffet only has plastic cutlery, cups and paper plates (again, unfortunately very common in the US...).

The bedroom and bathroom are comparably large and very modern. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, offering eggs, cerials, bagels, fruits good coffee, etc. Definitively above the American average standard. They even have oatmilk. The location near chinatown, Manhattan bridge and the east broadway subway station is very good and one can walk to downdown / financial district in 15 minutes.

The room was a little small. We were only 2 travellers and it was OK, but this room is advertised for up to 4 people and that would be too many people for this room. Very little place for the suitcases.

Great hotel in the middle of Chinatown. 2 blocks away from East Broadway metro station and within walking distance of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Financial district. Breakfast OK, comfortable room (even though a bit small).

The air conditioning unit was so close to the bed it made it difficult to get out of bed one side without hitting your legs on it!

For some reason there was a smell of fish in the elevator and hallway of the hotel

A little too noisy cause of the train. The heaters in the room were very noisy. A bit challenging to sleep with.

I would have liked some more savory vegetarian options for breakfast (potato fries etc). Other than that the breakfast was good.

I like the clean rooms and bathrooms at Fairfield. The location was good, 20-30 min walking distance from attractions like the Brooklyn bridge and 9/11 memorial. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a comfortable stay.

Our room faced Henry and the subway was quite loud. The area around Chinatown was not the cleanest either but still felt safe walking in the neighborhood. Very convenient to a couple of subway stops within short walking distance. Hallway on sixth floor was kind of smelly.

Some nights the hot water in the shower took a long time to come out.

The breakfast was very tasty! Rosa and Espina were very nice and were always concerned about cleaning up the mess left by other passengers (passengers with no manners!) and if the food ran out they replaced it immediately. The cleaning ladies and the guys at the front desk were also super nice. Something very positive is that at night there was a thermos with hot water, so if you arrived tired you could prepare a cup of tea or coffee. The location is excellent, we were able to walk to the Brooklyn Bridge, Chinatown, Little Italy, Battery Park and the Word Trade Center, in addition to the fact that the subway station is super close.

While the view of the bridge is wonderful, be prepared for the accompanying noise of trains go over it. Earplugs are a necessity.

Reception staff ( shout out to Sebastian ) were extremely helpful. I felt welcomed by all staff, serving staff in the breakfast area were very friendly. Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Excellent location, easy walk to subway and many locations in lower manhattan.

The bathroom was terrible, faucet water does not go down at all or very slow, very disappointing for almost $500 a night.

The breakfast was varied every day, the location of the hotel is close to the Brooklyn Bridge and the financial area but a little dark at night around the hotel
