The grounds were bursting with color from all of the plants. As a gardener I found it very relaxing after our long drive. The room itself felt like we were in a cabin. Wall and ceilings were natural wood. Best last minute booking we've made.

The bed was nice and firm! Actually one of the best beds I've ever had at a hotel. Perfect weight blanket too. Very clean. Great food next door at Johnnie's.

The small shower! I'm a small person and it was hard for me to use. But I still wouldn't let that keep me from staying again.. I will definitely be back .

Traffic on 2 is bad, but just turn on air conditioning and go to sleep! :) Nothing to complain about at all.

Exceptional greeting call upon booking the room to make sure we knew how to get there, if we needed anything else before arrival or in our room. Host was very pleasant when we arrived to make sure we had ice and offered area knowledge on where to eat for dinner and breakfast in the am. Very friendly upon checkout when replenishing ice for the cooler. Grounds were beautiful with flowers and games that could be played.

Everything!!! It has the charm of a 1970’s roadside motel, but updated, clean and comfortable as a 5 star hotel! And wait till you meet the owner. You can tell the pride he takes just by his friendliness.

It was all very nice and wouldn't change a thing so there was nothing we didn't like.

The facility was clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The owners were proud of their facility and it showed. The room looked like it was recently renovated, they did a nice job and had good taste in colors and craftsmanship.

If you are a light sleeper, you can hear the highway that goes by. This did not bother me or my mom but could bother some people. The bathroom is quite small, this again was fine for my mom and I, but someone of a larger size could struggle with the smaller amenities.

You guys! This hotel was the cleanest place I've ever stayed. I was traveling with my mom who cleans houses for a living so she can be picky and she just kept walking around "I can't believe how clean this place is!". Unlike your traditional hotel rooms, our two queen room was actually two rooms, one bed was in the livingroom/kitchen area, the other bed was in a separate room. It was super cute. Staff was extremely welcoming, seems to be run by an adorable family. The grounds were impeccable. The flowers all over were absolutely beautiful.
