The free WiFi did not connect for most of our stay.and the tub was out of order and the wall had a huge crack.

The floor in the room was very old and damaged and the microwave didn't work

The room was recently renewed and the bed was very comfy. Nice plants in front of the building and colourful paintings on the walls of the building. Good place to stay for one night for this price.

the floors and the furniture were pretty beat up and old. It was a small room and could not easily fit the furniture. There was a table and chair in the room. the table was helpful but the chair was unusable due to space. When it says State street it is all the way at the opposite end from downtown.

The value for being in Santa Barbara was great. The bed was nice and the bathroom was clean and modern. Great to have a fridge in the room. There was a street vendor selling tacos across the street at night which was great.

The biggest issue was the heater did not work and there was no backup heater. It was cold during night and freezing when taking shower.

everything works fine and the room is quiet although it is a little bit old. the bed is comfortable and 3 different pillows are good.

Loved this spot! The people on reception are lovely, and you get like a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and table with 2 chairs in your room, so good, don’t even need to go out to eat! Everything was clean and tidy. Room was smaller than expected but who cares a microwave in ur room!

Mattresses were run down with dips in them. TV had only one channel. Internet was pretty much non existent. But I was only there to sleep in the hotel and visit friends, so it wasn’t too big a deal. Just more of a hassle.

Clean, great neighborhood, courteous staff, great shower. Close to a Great donut shop and a breakfast place.

The staff was very nice, and the room was good, some older furniture but the beds were super confrontable. The location was quiet and located on State St. Many restaurants close by. Sunshine café right next door. I would stay here again

Was definitely not the cleanest. There was literally blood on the wall in the bathroom. Another issue is that the front desk was sporadically missing. Seems like only one person was manning the main building. There was often people waiting outside to check in because staff was gone.

The towels were a little more raggedy/not soft than I’d like, but besides the price (which, again, is still on the cheap side for Santa Barbara), that’s really my only complaint. Also wasn’t a big fan of the door not having a chain or secondary latch of any kind considering I was a woman traveling alone, but I just moved the table in front of the door and it wasn’t a concern.

Is it worth $140 a night? Not really. But considering that’s about as cheap as it gets for Santa Barbara, it was a solid stay. Clean enough, comfy enough. Good location, in walking distance of a lot of stores/restaurants and only a couple minutes drive to downtown.

The towels were not particularly soft, and there weren't many. Sufficient to our needs, but just barely.

Great location! While the room is small, the space is used quite efficiently. The refrigerator was a good size, and there are a lot of restaurants and markets in walking distance, so great if one doesn't want to eat out all the time. Staff were friendly, too!

For our taste the Motel was too far from downtown Santa Barbara and had no pool, which we both of course knew when we booked.

Small Motel. Good room for 5 people. 2x queen size and a pull out Couch. Not even a mile up the road there is a fantastic little Indian Restaurant and a Starbucks for coffee in the morning.

Jacuzzi nozzles in bathtub e we’re not working . Cover of air conditioner in room 102 was held by duck tape, but the lid cover fall anyways.
