While we had the handicap bathroom we requested and the tub was well equipped with grab bars and accessible shower controls, it was too high for me to be able to get into. My wife did love the large tub for soaking baths, but it was unusable for me . In spite of this issue, I still rate this hotel very high and very much enjoyed our stay

Everything in the room was fresh, clean, new, and met my expectations and hopes 100%. That includes the bathroom, which was perfectly cleaned and maintained. The towels looked like they were brand new. The room was a pretty large size.

We didn't have their breakfast but others have complained of it running out before posted times and lack of healthy choices. We chose to go to the diner a short drive away.

We were in the area to attend a wedding. We were unsure of what to expect here having spent a night at a crummy, run down hotel in Emporia, VA. Unless booking an expensive high end hotel, it has become increasingly difficult to trust the sparkly online photos for mid range facilities. Reviews are subjective and you almost have to throw caution to the wind when booking. Upon arrival at the Beaumont we were pleasantly surprised upon entering. The clerk was friendly and helpful, the lobby area, ground floor hallways/carpeting and our room were updated, clean and comfortable.

Besides, the staff bring unwelcoming like unseasoned food. There were no amenities like a swimming pool, a laundry room, or visitors lounge. I had to go outside the hotel and spend extra money to find these things.

The breakfast was ok.It could have had more options. The staff was very unwelcoming and bland like unseasoned food.

The bed was MOST comfortable. The room very cozy and plenty of space. Very nice large window view. Breakfast bar was plentyful. The staff, all very friendly and helpful. Great location for the area. I will stay there again.

Water diverter was corroded and the shower hardly worked. The breakfast area had full garbage cans, waffle iron was broken, creamers for coffee were sour, no fruit and all they had was eggs and bread,orange juice was sour also.

the TV remote didn’t work. the shower head was so stupidly mounted that it splashed directly on the wall on the other side. for a person with a disability, sitting on the shower chair, it made showering horribly long, difficult and frustrating (this was an accessible room). the room was freezing cold, and there was no way to adjust it. the breakfast was horrible, hardly any choice and what was served was mediocre. the front desk wasn’t staffed most of the time.

The "breakfast" was very minimal. Waffles could be made and there were little, round egg patties, but neither were appealing to us. There was only white bread, no butter available, "community" container of milk and small, packaged muffins. This was a weekday morning, so I expected that breakfast would have had more variety, especially for people that may have been heading to work. We ended up down the road at a diner for breakfast. In addition, the ice machine wasn't working and the snack vending machine was out of order as well.

The room was quiet, comfortable and very clean. Kudos to their housekeeping staff.

The staff at the front desk was rude the candy machine took my money and I wasn't reimbursed. I was charged a different room rate for each night. 149.99 for Friday stay and 179.99 for Saturday stay. That wasn't the reservation I made. When I asked for a receipt when I checked in I was told I'd get it at check out. Ripoff. Beware of the property

First, the bathroom: The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. The shower curtain was filthy on the bottom. The toilet kept refusing to flush. My husband had to request a plunger so we could regularly use it. Room itself: The lighting wasn't good. We needed to open curtain to get enough light. Being on the first floor, we couldn't do until after we were all dressed. One of the beds had a mattress cover that was stained with what looked like blood on the side. The sheet on that bed didn't fit and kept coming up. The breakfast was meager. There was 2 kinds of cereal with only whole milk. There was some muffins and some bread for toasting but no butter. They did have the standard waffle maker with syrup but again no butter. They also had powdered egg patties.

The location was perfect. The beds were comforable. The young lady who checked us in was very nice.
