How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Didn’t have a pool, however the beach is a 10 minute drive over the bridge.
Renovated in 2021. Clean and well maintained. Kim and manager very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast had bagels, microwave breakfast sandwiches and breakfast choices. Decaf coffee available in your room. Beds were very firm and dehumidifier was appreciated but noisy. Ear plugs were a good solution. Property very nicely cared for.

There was a musty smell in hall way that was overpowering. They had fans trying to help. They were doing their best, but the smell affected my allergies
Breakfast was well thought out. I appreciated the measures they took to wrap all food individually

The payment policy was a little weird. First of all, the room price was charged soon after reservation (several months before the trip). And instead of making just a reservation, the USD 150 deposit was charged from the credit card and payed back after check-out. Due to drop in currence rate and bank comissions I ended up getting less back (in Euros) than I had borrowed to the hotel. Breakfast was quite minimal.
Location was good at least for a one night stay. Easy connection to the highways. Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.

Nothing really since it exceeded my expectations. Great value and good location.
Didn't have the breakfast since I left so early. Very comfortable,clean room and updated nicely. Located downtown Melbourne just 5 minutes from the beach. Kim at reception was great.

Old and noisy AC in the room. Had to sleep without turning on of it... The room became humid and warm during the night...
The motel is located close to the Kennedy Space Center, so this was the purpose of the travel. The staff at the reception was super helpful and nice. Guided me very well around, and gave me a good and quite room in the back of the motel, as asked. The motel was renovated and it seemed like new. Free parking was available and wide. The motel was also very close to the center and the beaches, 2-3 km across the bridge. The breakfast was very nice, with the wide range of choices.

Room smelt damp when we first got there.
Comfortable and close to the airport after a long flight. Go to Mr 1 pizza. They are great.

Breakfast space small but other guests were considerate and made space for others.
Location was good, hotel was very quiet. Desk staff excellent. Breakfast was good with plenty of different foods. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was clean, shower pressure was good. Overall a good place to stay,

The hallway smelled too much like bug spray. The deposit, even though we were local Brevard County residents, was a steep $250. The beds were stiff as boards. They used styrofoam plates in their breakfast area. For the second night, I had to pick up my son from work temporarily, interrupt him from his job in order to pay for the stay because the front desk would not allow a paper authorization for me to use his credit card to pay for the deposit.

Staying at Super 8 by Wyndham Melbourne was an apt choice. The hotel is situated in an excellent and peaceful area. The hotel was clean, staff helpful and polite parking space included. The room was cleaned daily, towels and sheets were changed daily. Breakfasts rather snack style - ok. Thank you for the stay, it was nice, for sure next time I will stay there. Computer issues at the front desk caused a 20-minute check-in time. It’s a local hotel, but required a ridiculously high $250 deposit from county residents.
Room was clean, large, updated and comfortable. Close to downtown Melbourne.
