Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWhen we got there our room smelled like pot and cigarettes. We left really early the last day because the neighbors were yelling and screaming and throwing and kicking things. Kicked our door at one point. My husband went and told the manager when we were leaving and he knew who we were talking about but did nothing about it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and my family and I will never be going back there.
The location was very sketchy.

United StatesThe location was poor and the property was not marked as a motel. In fact, there was no signage at all. It looked like a parking lot behind a fence with some rooms. Breakfast was supposed to be available and there was none. The television did not work properly. The door to the room did not properly lock. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

United StatesI find it extremely difficult to believe this is an approved Super 8 property. 🤔 No sign (was told the wind kept blowing it down), no breakfast as advertised, no lobby to speak of, clerk stated she couldn't give me a receipt for my online payment until I showed them where booking.com said they would. Something clanged on the back of the hotel for two days (maybe the real Super 8 sign 😁), my mattress kept sliding off the metal framed bed (that was a first). Bathroom and sitting area have been remodeled to make entry and using bathroom vanity difficult. No coffee makers. Surrounding area was okay, but this place was fenced off like an impounded vehicle lot. 🤣 Would not stay there again if it were free.
Front desk clerk was polite. Room was reasonably clean. AC and hot water worked.

United StatesThe facilities in general, the room smelled, the paper thin blanket had cigarette burns on it although I was in an non smoking room. I asked for extra blankets and wash cloths and was told they couldn't provide any because linen gets locked up every night....when asked for a cancelation due to the shape of the room, beds were on what looked like cot frames, and lack of assistance I was told no cancelations or refunds were given for any reason. It was a very uncomfortable stay for me and my children and I will never return. The room and building also looked like it was under construction inside and out. Looks to be small family owned, which isnt horrible but please have the proper staff and supplies to supply your paying guests. Definitely not a good experience at all!
