Lots of homeless in the area. Area looked super clean. I suspect that the city of Eureka had a massive clean up project for the Cal Poly Humboldt graduation ceremony. Do be fooled by the “breakfast included “ amenity. Only coffee, tea, juice, granola bar, instant oatmeal packets, and small apples.

Dog friendly. Third party site did not mention the $20 per day pet charge. The staff was awesome. Very helpful and made a great restaurant recommendation.

The room has not been deep cleaned in a while, so some think dust in some areas. The pillows are not great.

It was one of the best inexpensive hotels we have stayed in. The bathroom and floors were clean.. Bed was comfortable.

The “hot breakfast” was in the lobby with no seating and consisted of coffee, apples, sugary Quaker granola bars and maple flavored Quaker instant oatmeal. Very disappointing and not as advertised.

Convenient and large, upgraded rooms. Quiet and a good bed and shower. Walking hi to old town is nice.

The room temperature was cold, we tried turning the AC off didn't have any luck. What they called breakfast was a joke, not even a muffin. Only coffee and Costco to go bars, it's a snack not breakfast. What I paid for would have had better service at a merriot.

In the past I have stayed in super 8's and I like them and feel comfortable.

The receptionist issued the key to our room for other guests. They come in when we were unpacking. Motel has bad sound insulation. We were bothered by TV in the next room and noises from plumbing.

The breakfast is a joke. Cup of coffee and packaged oatmeal at the reception. There is no dedicated breakfast place. The room did not have table and chairs.

Room was noisy from traffic. We accidentally dropped some water on the tiled floor and when wiping it the paper came black so this floor must have not been moped recently or properly. Carpet looked ok but smelled a bit of smoke although we were in a non-smoking room. The last day, smell of smoke was more intense in the room maybe from the room below. The bathtub is placed a bit tilted so water comes out on the floor when showering even if the shower curtain is closed properly. Not very clean outdoor spaces. We were prepared for minimal breakfast offerings but they were even fewer than what we were prepared for.

Room was spacious, with refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. Towels and sheets looked new and felt fresh. Short walking distance to downtown and historic Eureka town. The staff was polite.
