Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWhen I booked, I stated I need a main floor room when I checked in, I was put on the 1st floor 2 flights of stairs I have had knee replacements. There were no rooms on the main floor available. Then the TV remote didn't work to it to the front desk he couldn't do anything about it. What would you have done if I were in a wheelchair?

United StatesI was in room 203. the key did not work to get into the room. The keys were changed 3 times. The 2nd day I tried the key 87 times until I blew up. I was moved to the room 205. The key worked and I noticed the room was a little updated compared to room 203. In room 203 the coffee pot leaked all over. The air conditioner switch was broken and could not be adjusted. The carpets were filthy. My Grandchildrens feet were black on the bottom. I paid $515 to stay there 4 nights and would expect a refund for some of these complaints. The most frustrating issue was the key not working to get into the room. I had to have the attendant open the door for me. I slid the key in and out and counted each time. The first day was 34 times before the door would open. The last straw was when I slid the key 87 times until I went downstairs again and complained. That's when I was moved to room 205. I would like a refund, a call and both.
The breakfast was low on items. I had to ask to fill them.

United StatesThe spa was broken, fire alarms going off, screaming kids up and the halls on 2nd and 3rd floors. They're dog friendly but no where to take the dogs potty, except in the simi truck parking area. The simi trucks Freaked my dogs out.

It isceasy access off I-5, clean, indoor pool? Breakfast, good shower, microwave, coffee, refrigerator and cable. Air/Heat. Because I called ahead of time I was able to get on the main floor. SO ALWSUS CALL AHEAD IF YOU NEED MAIN FLOOR, no stars. Thank You, Staff Brandy-, she made sure I got a downstairs, no steps to room. Needs an elevator and Vending machines on each floor. Thank you for a quiet sleep.

Best bed pillows ever! Also, bed was nice and firm. Window opens, and on side of building away from freeway it was nice and quiet so I could leave window open all night.
