Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesI did online and got there and the fee was 50 instead of 25 and he had me register again with him and sign the form saying 25...I marked through that and put 50 then signed. There was no one there but was a 15 minute return sign but I was there longer...when he got there he said the regular worker was out sick. Let's see if I get my 50 back because all that had to be done was the bed change and a fastfood bag...plus a washcloth....got exactly what I knew I was paying for so was good
