There were no wash rags in the room and I went to the front desk and the guy didn't even explain anything but said they didn't have any. I was disappointed because who doesn't have wash rags for the guest to take a shower? Also, the gal who checked us in could have said something about it, I could have bought one when we were at Walmart. The bed was way too soft for my liking. The next day the guy who was at the front desk explained why there were no wash rags. And again if they explained that when we checked in it would have made the rating go up.

The property could use some updating and I really didn’t like having to go up and down stairs.

It was affordable, clean, nothing fancy, and they offered breakfast. There were good amenities and it was close to restaurants.

Make sure if you require ADA access to a room, that you state it in your reservation or call and tell them personally. There are three floors but the first is down a flight of steps and the 2nd and 3rd are up flights of stairs. No elevators. There are some ground level rooms with doors that are accessible from the parking lot that are in the attached building outside but I’m not sure how many rooms are there. The shower faucet had no way of turning the water warm or cold because the handle was broken. The smell radiating from the sink when the water would run smelled like acidic vomit. The toilet was VERY slow to flush and sometimes took three or four times to flush just the slightest amount of toilet paper. The bed was extremely worn out. Springs poked in my back all night long no matter where I laid in the bed and there were literally body shaped divots from where people have slept in it over the years. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. The key reset its self multiple times a day and when I asked why it keeps happening because I didn’t have it anywhere near my phone or credit cards, I was told because the doors are old like everything else in the hotel. The lady at the desk was always kind and helpful but I think she spends the majority of her time fixing the keys or having to run up and down the steps to rooms on all the floors to try and help people with their doors. To finalize it all, every morning I was woke up at 8 am by house keeping yelling down the halls to talk to each other extremely loudly.

The inside was quite dated and the surrounding hiways were a bit confusing. Price was jacked up since it was a football weekend.

I requested a king bed, first floor in my reservation. Got there, it was a 2 story property with stairs down to the first floor and up to the second floor. They checked me in and gave me a second room floor. I told them I could not do that as I had a foot injury and needed the first floor. Turns out the first floor rooms were all 2 beds per room and the second floor was single king beds. To get me to the first floor they had to charge me an additional $3.00 to get everything in their room assignment system to work. They had a separate entrance at the end of the building which would allow level entrance, so that helped. My advice with the Super 8 properties if you have mobility issues, check out their layout to find out if they do/don't have an elevator. It will save a lot of issues with your stay.

The room and amenities were normal for a Super 8. The hall carpets need cleaning or replacement.

Even though there was a coffee maker, the room had no coffee with the exception of a previous guests coffee in the microwave. Leftover items in the shower also made me wonder about housekeeping.

Gym closed temporarily, no quarders provided if you need to do laundry. They told me I should go get change at the Starbucks next door. Starbucks was furious because many guest go to his place due to the lack of service of the motel

I have knees didn't realize there was no elevator and i was put on 3rd floor. Then the belgian waffle wasn't available cause employee couldn't find mix. After eating cereal the manager or another employee filled the waffle mix. Otherwise clean and friendly place.

Air conditioner was noisy and came on and off frequently. Breakfast did not include eggs or fresh fruit. No pool.

Older motel had comfortable king size bed; the refrigerator worked; breakfast included waffles, yoghurt, wrapped muffins and two cereals (enough to get by for a few days). short drive to restaurants, stores, Walmart, Menards. Cost under $100 per night.
