Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe room was fine, no weird smells. You could smell smoke when you walked to the elevator. But the shower didn’t seem as clean as it could’ve been. My family and I with a baby were maybe in the room an extra minute or two past checkout, and staff had knocked on our door. They were polite but definitely has never happened to us before!
Breakfast was as expected. Nice layout and spread.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. We liked the waffles and yogurt and fruit. All in all it worked out for us.

United StatesMy husband and I woke up and we were about to leave and I lifted the pillow to look for something and there was a bedbug on the sheet. Also in the shower and floor there were cockroachs. The mat in the shower had dead stains of when people killed the bedbugs.
The free Breakfast and it was comfortable for the night.

United StatesThe first room they gave me was food left on the table with empty water bottles and dirty towels on the bed. The second room the bedsheets had stains on them so we slept on top of the bedspread and elevator floor was filthy looked like never been mopped

I stayed with my mother and a man opened the door without knocking then said room service VERY VERY UPSETTING AND RUDE!!!!! THE ROOM WAS DIRTY AND THE BATHROOM WAS GROSS I CLEANED IT MYSELF!!!!!!! The electrical socket cover was broken and socket exposed for the bathroom sink.
