I've stayed here before and given a great review. Unfortunately, things have slipped since my last stay. My room's floor was not clean. White socks were dark with dirt after only a few minutes of walking on them. Like before, some of the furnishings are worn and tattered - holes in the bedspread. One surprise was that while I had coffee cups, coffee and related items in my room, there was no coffee maker.

The office called 2 hours before check in time and told me that they overbooked and cancelled my reservation. Had to scramble to find another hotel which was another town 30 miles away.

I didn’t like that when, I got to my room to lay down, after driving 7 1/2 hours, I found that my sheets and pillow cases had mildew stains. I also didn’t like the fact that the site said they serve breakfast but did not, which was why I booked the hotel.

The staff member who booked me in was nice. She gave me clean sheets and pillows cases right away, after learning the ones I had, had mildew stains. Nothing else was good honestly besides the room having a microwave and mini refrigerator.

It was very run down and dingy. It definitely is in need of updates and repairs. The beds were like sleeping on a rock. The facilities were needed maintenance and updates

The price. The staff was super nice! For it being just an over night stay it was fine. But if it was needed longer than that I would go somewhere else. The price and staff was wonderful!

The room was dirty, scuffed with dirt on the door, like old cigarettes in a non-smoking room, hair in the bathtub, rat droppings in the corner, and stuff plaster on one of the lamps. Then they gave me my refund for the room and charged me again once I left the residence.

Room was filthy. Made the mistake of dropping my charger behind the bed so had to move it out a bit. Awful. One of the pillows was either dirty or stained and there was some weird substance on the heater/cooling unit. I always check for bed bugs, and I did see some tiny blood spots (looked old) on the mattress pad and a pool of old blood under it. I made a point of not putting my luggage on anything but the hard table and while I slept for a few hours on the bed, I slept cross ways and then took a long hot shower that morning to ensure if I'd picked up anything it was washed away. My clothes I had with me remain in quarantine and will for a while longer before I launder them in hot water. What really was bad were the insects. I had to kill a cricket when I first went in the room. Crickets are fairly common and can get in so I didn't sweat it. Later though two more appeared along with a black beetle. I think they were coming up out of the drain. Then, I realized there were not one but two big spider webs in the bathroom under the toilet - complete with spiders. Lastly, I went to get the extra toiler paper roll - another insect. I've attached pictures for all this. I left a note from the front desk with the issues and told them to call me. I wanted to chat with them before posting such a negative review. Two days later, they've opted not to call me so hence the review. I hate it since we like to hunt in that area and that hotel is very handy. Alas, it will be my last stay there until they clean up their act (and their rooms).

The location is great. I've stayed at this hotel before and written a past great review. Before, the rooms were reasonably clean.

There was blood splattered on the outside of the door and on the lamp shade in the room. The peephole was purposefully scratched up from the outside so you could not see through it from the inside.

The front desk staff was very friendly.

Web site said Continental breakfast and there was none was not told that when we checked in. Had issues with bugs flies spiders we were there for three days and no one came to clean our room at all. Phone was filthy had to wash it off myself could not use it to call the front desk remote would not turn the TV on and off or use the volume with it had to unplug the cable from the TV to get it to shut off had no idea where the ice machine was was never told bedding had burned holes in it
