How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It’s a motel not a hotel. Balcony carpet needs replaced. There was roaches.
Comfortable bed, hot shower. It was quiet for being right beside a freeway. Staff was nice.

The location and the fact that the doors are on the outside of the hotel plus I’ve heard that’s where some shady activity has happened

The original room.
The room I would have had initially was small and not clean when I arrived. Staff upgraded my room to a newer unit that was very nice.

It seemed a little run down. We were expecting a hotel and not a motel.
The bed was very comfortable. We were very pleased with the bed and the temperature of the room. The breakfast was very nice, too.

Only thing I didn't like was the carpet on the outside of my room was really gross but the room in my floor was just fine.
The king size bed was extremely comfortable

Neighbors were kind of noisy at night. They don't give you very much shampoo or conditioner, so bring your own, especially if you have long hair. The mini-fridge was a bit difficult to open. The location was weird, right next to a highway exit. Some Uber drivers got confused by it.
The staff were very helpful, they found me a room ready two hours before the scheduled check-in. The room was clean, bed was very comfy. I did notice some stains on the floor near the sink but they were tiny. Shower was very nice too, water was warm.

i didn’t like that it’s a MOTEL. I prefer hotels and this places name is very misleading. The shower nozzle was broken so it felt more like water boarding.
The lady at the front Tracy was very friendly and helpful. Though considering it’s a motel, it was very nice. i stayed in room 123 and it was very modern and clearly updated.

When we arrived, I was told they had to give away our King room with pullout sofa & we were given a choice of queen with pullout or two beds. Price was okay but there were a few problems in our room. The door to our room didn't shut properly, only one little trashcan, a few little nicks or scratches on the walls but nothing that ruined our stay. The biggest problem was the shower. It was running when we arrived & wouldn't shut off until we played around with the knob.
A little off the beaten path, easy access, friendly staff, nice breakfast, room had nice features & some seemed new.

The blanket had a very sticky stain dried into the fabric.
Easy to reach upstairs from outside laundry room. Very kind staff.

2 times police were addressing issues with people on property (2 police cars each time). Evening clerk (older man) said I should be glad police are on hotel property. I prefer hotel that attracts less police attention.)

No scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, etc. And no liquid coffee creamers.
Staff. Breakfast was disappointing ... but not unexpected. Other motels that I've stayed in are doing brown paper bags.

Ceiling paint cracking. Bathtub stained. Shower curtain needs replaced

The floors were dirty and really needed to be swept. They were laminate floors. Dirt and debris around the room. Needed to brush off feet to make sure you didn't get dirt in the bed.
Friendly staff. Neighbors were nice. The facility was clean on the outside. The room was nice for what it was. The area is not too bad. Beds were comfier then they looked.

Entry door to the room we had could be fixed so it sealed. Could see daylight all around it. Bathroom door sticks and hard to open. Those were our o ly complaints!!
It was a nice place and value for the cost.
