It’ was good all round.

A contemporary arts hotel full with great pieces of art. Great showers close to beach and facilities cafes etc.

Only a small thing but the mattress in our room was too thin like a futon and was pretty hard.

The Location said 100 metres from the Beach and it was exactly where it said, and I was a littler concerned about booking a small boutique hotel, but the location appealed to me. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and standard of the hotel, the owners and ll staff!! I'll be back Cheers Ray

The AC malfunctioned a few times and the room had no window. I had requested a balcony but there was none so we had no air coming in. The staff rushed to our rescue to fix it but it stopped working again. The sheets are polyester so the bed was warm anyway. I hope they can work this out as it’s a lovely little place in a great location.

We loved the decor and the fact that it was a stone’s throw to the beach. It was also very clean.

Staff at front desk was too rehearsed to say the least. His responses were not genuine. They felt staged and not fact based, thereby not being very helpful and hurting our trust in that person's service. Cleaning staff were VERY kind and helpful.

Locations, sheets and full kitchenette were positives for sure.

Amazing staff. Would stay there again although would pay extra to have a room with windows. Thought it wouldn’t be a problem because mostly out but not so good.

We drove around for an hour and a half looking for a place to park. Not only was there no onsite parking, which is stated in the listing, there is no feasible parking solution anywhere near the hotel. All the parking lots are so busy, all the street parking is metered with a 12 hour limit or 1 or 2 hour parking. After an hour and a half of driving around we finally gave up and went somewhere else. We tried to call the property to try to get some info on where we could park and there was no one on site to answer the phone. Online check in is great unless you actually have a problem and need to talk to someone.

We never even got to stay. The location so close to the beach is not an advantage when you are fighting to find a place to park.

Loved everything

Lovely boutique modern hotel in the centre of Hermosa just a stone throw away from the beach. Lovely clean well equipped room with a little kitchen area. Wonderful upstairs outdoor terrace with tables and fire pits. A beautiful chill place to relax after exploring beautiful California. The staff were super lovely too xxx

The property is in a great location and has all the upgraded amenities a guest could want. The staff is super friendly and easy to work with. Given the hotel used to be a private apartment building, it comes bolstered with excellent security. Amazing for romantic getaway or for a family.

I loved my stay at SW Beach Hotel - Sandy was easily contactable and went over and above to make my stay as comfortable as possible! Location was fantastic to be able to walk to cafes, restaurants, shops and the beach is at the doorstep - right in the centre of town, but the room was incredibly quiet at night and amenities and the bedding extra comfortable to allow for a restful sleep! Thank you again !
