Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesOur room was not cleaned. The sign in the bathroom stated to leave towels on floor for new ones. We came back to the room after a long day to a room that wasn’t clean (which, ok the bed wasn’t made), but the trash was over flowing and we had NO towels. Upon arrival the floors were dirty, there were coffee grounds on the counter, there was hair in the shower, and the bathroom faucet and counter were dirty.

United StatesThe hotel is very dated. Our room had peeling paint, a bathroom door that was rotting on the bottom, and old musty smelling pillows. The ice machine was broken, which stunk if you wanted to pack a cooler to take to the beach. There is no outdoor foot wash so you have no choice but to track sand into your room and shower.
The hotel is very close to the beach.

United StatesWhen walking my dog in the pet area, I avoided the curb and stepped to the left I tripped over the rebar that was still attached to the curb and was the same color as the dirt I did not see it so I tripped and fell hard and now I am one big ache all over. My husband covered the rebar with he broken curb so no ne else would fall. My suggestion is that someone should do a walk round to check for hazards.

United StatesWe should’ve picked the bigger room for our needs, but that was on us. The king room is really fit for a couple, we brought our baby along, but we could have used a bigger kitchen area.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. Jessie at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful! The location is AMAZING, so centralized and walking distance from many attractions. The pool area is spacious and well kept. Definitely a boutique motel feel!
