On check in I was told my VISA debit card wasn't accepted. I explained it was the same card I reserved the room with on Booking.com. The clerk said it is included on the hotel's "additional information", although I was never able to locate that. I explained that if my card was not accepted then there was a problem. I do not have a credit card, and did not carry enough cash to pay. The clerk was nice enough to call the owners and was given permission to accept my card & check me in. I expressed my appreciation, and the room I was assigned was very pleasant. In the future, if a debit card is not acceptable, it should be clearly marked on both Booking.com AND the hotel website.

Very clean room, comfy bed, convenient parking, very quiet even though it was on a busy street. There were plenty of food options in the area. It was very convenient to the hospital I was visiting.

To start I know I need a credit card to check in, but when I checked in it wasn't explained well that I was paying immediately and not just having my credit card authorized 1st. I was also told I could not pay with a debit card, he would not take it because I am a local/from FL. At check out I was told they only let out of state guests use debit cards. I have never stayed in a property where you couldn't switch payment to a different card at check out. And no folios are given. You sign an old fashioned registration card at check in and that is it. After that there is no itemized receipt. I had to ask for a photo copy of the registration card to get a folio/receipt. Not sure how someone would fill out an expense report if they were being reimbursed. Staff was friendly, no complaints there just wish billing process and receipts were updated.

The room, while a little outdated from the more modern facilities in the area was very well maintained and very clean. I wish this was more than a one night stay so we could have experienced things like the hot tub and pool.

On US highway 19, which is a multiple lane highway that is extremely busy & noisey

The tv wasn’t working at all. It was had sound and the pictures weren’t working. Very annoying if you have to sleep with the tv on

While the location was handy for us to get where we needed to go, the traffic noise was very load and constant. The tub facet was leaking a lot. It was hard to stop completely. I told the clerk on the way out.

Price was very good. Had a refrigerator, stove and microwave and plenty of storage.
