Nowhere near cafes or restaurants. Photos on the website were misleading. Would not stay there again.

The location to historic sites. Staff did respond immediately to our problems with noisy neighbours.

They have “hidden fees”. When we got there we were told we had to pay an additional $20 fee per day as a “Resort fee”. That everyone paid. Except we didn’t know about.

The handicapped accessible shower had a hand-held shower head that was placed so high up on the wall that it could not be reached, even by an extremely tall person. Totally inaccessible, and necessary for someone who needs to sit in a shower. I told this to the management, but I’m not sure it was noted. Hotels should consult with actual handicapped, or older, people when installing bathroom fixtures.

Very interesting and historic property, and my room was very accessible for someone who needs a cane for mobility.

The walls in my room were very thin. I could hear the people next door and they were talking at normal levels. In addition, the shower faucet leaked in the bathroom.

Stink bugs crawling all over the room, crawling up under the covers with us. The parking attendants being incredibly rude, telling us we couldn't park in the parking lot because they were doing valet at the moment for the restaurant even though we paid to stay at the hotel that the restaurant was in. Male restaurant host was unfriendly and made rude remarks because I tripped over the step coming in. Also the room was advertised as having a balcony , it did look out over the balcony, but we did not have access through our room , so falsely advertised. Overall, not a pleasant stay. We'll never stay there again.

After reporting the problems to the manager, he refunded one night.

It was like a maze trying to find the rooms.

Facilities are fab! Outdoor swimming pool in the summer was a hit for my kids!

The wallpaper was falling off the wall exposing some water damage.

It was very quiet and serene. Bed was very comfortable and relaxing. Quite a tranquil.

Minor issues the commode was elongated with a round seat The hot water for a shower at six am took 10-15 minutes to arrive. Room 505.

The folks to a person was welcoming and helpful. The location was only three minutes from our daughters house. The grounds and buildings were spectacular. Breakfast were up to par and Goosefeathers was wonderful.

The parking can be difficult.

Located 10 minutes outside of Main Street, Tarrytown. The grounds are beautiful picture perfect, comfortable, wonderful restaurant Goosefeathers!

The room could use a little updating and repairs (cabinet nob missing from armoire, etc.)

We really like Tarrytown House and have been several times. This was the first time in the mansion and it was nice. We love the grounds and the renovated gym is good and the buffet breakfast is quite good too.

The room was not clean. I found some of the last resident stuff still on the floor and under the bed. The restroom was so tiny, and the door did not close properly. I asked the reception for some stuff, and the reply was, "Come and get it yourself, we dont have anyone here."

The location is great, when you are climbing the road it is so gorgeous.

It took a long time to get hot water running for the shower and sink. At first we thought we didn't have hot water but let it run for around 5 - 8 minutes and it got hot.

Our air conditioner/heater’s front piece was off when we came in and the shelf in the shower almost fell out the wall. Definitely needs some maintenance love.
