Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe only parking option is valet and it was 36 dollars extra and we were not aware of it until we arrived. The location of the hotel was perfect with the city attractions, but lots of homeless one block away.
The staff definitely went above and beyond to be polite and helpful. You could tell the hostel had a script that they wanted the staff to follow. The breakfast was awesome with a good variety to choose from.

United StatesStaff didn’t come in my room to take out the trash, replace towels or turn down my bed. Also the sink had a slow drain- clogged.
It was a nice and clean room. Good breakfast. Good area to go to everything in downtown Dallas

United StatesBreakfast was edible and offered many choices, but was of mediocre quality. The coffee served was, to be frank, dreadful. European hotels that offer similar breakfasts almost always have an automated espresso/cappucino option. Given the "dishwater" American coffee, brewed en masse and stale from a giant thermos/container, two of these machines (or at least an option to order better coffee for an extra charge) would be a huge upgrade. Also, there could be more fruit options.
Re: Breakfast, see below. The room was clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. Everything was pin-drop quiet inside and I slept very well there. The location was convenient, and adjacent to Dallas mass transit. Downtown has some great architecture, but it was a bit sad and empty. This may be a post-Pandemic development; the lack of retail space in many of the office towers, and not enough local residents, is a problem for the city and the property. The comparison with nearby Uptown, lively at night with busy restaurants, is stark.

United StatesPrices were hiked up for the cheer competition weekend. I looked for the same room the next weekend after competition and the prices were significantly lower. It’s really a shame that this hotel charged me over 500 dollars a night for basically a regular room with some amenities like a refrigerator. Due to hardly any other options available nearby the cheer competition, I was forced to pay over 1700 dollars for 3 nights. I even booked this way in advance. That’s kinda shameful considering Homewood Suites are not a 5 star hotel but charged me like they are. I will not stay here again due to the price hike. However, your staff were very nice and helpful.

United StatesThere was construction going on near the property. The loud construction noise was not great at 6:00am on a Sunday. That’s not in the hotels control though!

United StatesThe lobby area and waiting area temperature was unacceptable. It was cold outside and freezing inside. Stepping out of the elevators was very uncomfortable because the temperature was not regulated. Every time the sliding doors open (to enter and exit the main entrance) I would get a blast of cold air. I would be nice if there was a system in place to keep that area warm during the Winter,
I liked the friendly staff , the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas, the spacious rooms, the breakfast food and breakfast area.

United StatesAC units are too loud , especially when they turn on and off. Gym room extremely out dated, weights looked rusted. In the area prior to getting to the gym and pool there is a discomforting smell that I can’t describe.
Breakfast was really good. Room size was great. My son loved the basketball room. He really worked on his game while his sister attended a K-pop concert.

United StatesI loved the coffee at the dinning area but not the coffee in the room. I also looked forward to go to the pool area to relax, but the closed in area and dongeon feel was not appealing. The pool water was also freezing and unsupervised. Five teenagers were diving in the pool and taking over, limiting the amount of space to enjoy.
The breakfast was a little cold, but had a variety of food selections. There was cold and warm cereal, fruit, and a variety of cold and warm coffees.

United StatesMy wife couldn't open the door from inside the room in her wheelchair. The lip on the shower made it difficult to get inside. The shower curtain is 6 inches too short, which caused flooding every shower.
Shout out to Hilton Homewood Suites in downtown Dallas. They have the most accessible room we have ever stayed in. The doors are wide, there is a lot of room to maneuver in, the desk is wheelchair accessible, the restroom is very large for maneuverability and it has a roll-in shower with drop-down bench. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 9.6.

AustraliaI think the place could be updated shortly, but it was very clean and pool was under maintenance so could not be used in near 40 degrees weather, but not the staffs fault. Apart from that, i cannot fault this accommodation, stay here you will not regret it.
Breakfast was amazing!!! Also, Wed night complimentary food and wine was also amazing and much appreciated. We were blown away by how lovely all the staff were, very accommodating, helpful and friendly, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome, true Texan hospitality. From the reception ladies, security ladies and management all were lovely!
