The shower water pressure was awful. We could hear the upstairs guest in their room. Could even hear them yawn!

I booked this hotel as it had been so amazing last year. This year, not so much. The bed was really hard. The toilet got clogged (twice) and the shower pressure was insufficient.

It's great to receive a text with entry instructions using a door code.

I was a little disappointed with the room Size and the chairs may go with the decore But are very uncomfortable. And the bathroom, Very clean but very small. Overall I had a very Comfortable stay and I would stay there again But in a different room.

The fan in the bathroom was very loud. We noticed that the TV remote was noplace in the room and there was not an availability to get one at the hour we had checked into our room

the place was very cool, very well decorated and roomy enough and the shower/ bathroom layout was cool too. Emailing to let someone know about things was easy and helpful as well

Walls are rather thin. Upstairs occupants were not noisey, but could hear normal conversations and movements.

No breakfast other than coff and a roll was provided. They did not advertise a breakfast, so not making a negative coment.

I never received the information needed to enter my room. Each room is key coded, and we never received the code. There was no one on site to help and I had to call the number listed, which lead to an answering machine which lead to another answering machine that hung up on me. The second time I called I was able to leave a message, and about 30 minutes later I got a call back with the information I needed. It wasn't a terrible experience, but the automated services could have been done better.

The atmosphere was nice. And the Adirondack feel of everything was cool.

Website pictures made it look larger than it really was. Smaller than I would have liked. No iron in room. No desk or table for laptop. Shower was kind of wonky, every quarter turn would turn it off, couldn't get dialed into a proper temperature. Put towels out for exchange, never got replacements back. I felt website cleverly made the accommodations appear bigger than they actually were.

Exterior maintenance of walkways- very icy! We scraped and salted them ourselves using the supplies we found in the exterior storage room, after almost falling during arrival, and again the next day when we saw a neighbor fall while taking suitcase out to his car. The main cause is water dripping from the gutters which IMHO need repair and regular cleaning to maintain proper drainage without overflow. The rustic style bed frame itself was very "creaky" -made a lot of noise when you moved around. Don't know if that can be fixed or improved. The shower originally had a glass door which was removed in favor of a simple curtain. Great, but when you do that you should also remove the metal door guide channels, which are a tripping and stub-toe/cut hazard for guests feet. The screw holes are easily re-sealed with color matched silicone caulk. The self service concept with off site management has privacy plusses, but contact interface negatives. We didn't get the advance email in a timely fashion before our trip, and had some delay in accessing our room when we arrived.

Great location right in town just a couple miles from Gore Mountain. We liked the code access locks eliminating need for key or key cards. Great hot water supply. Quality mattress & bedding/pillows. Keurig coffee maker and fridge very convenient. Nice great room common area with fireplace for relaxing with a drink and friends apres ski. Very nice large screen internet TV service, however we couldn't see any any Olympics coverage since there are no regular major network channels. Just a tad too high tech for older folks I guess.
