I was told there was an in suite sauna, there was not. Also the unit was privately owned (not aware) so a room attendant was $50/day extra. not a big deal but no one brought toilet paper, towels, coffee or shampoo replacements.

booking didn’t tell us us was a private owned unit. We did not have fresh linens,maid services or fresh towels. After paying over $900 for 3 nights I was told I had to pay extra cash f I wanted clean towels or our room cleaned…. ridiculous!

Apparently our room was rented from an owner of the condo and therefore there was no maid service. We had to constantly ask for new towels and the staff gave us a hard time about it.

The room was enormous and was facing the ocean for beautiful views. Great for watching the sunrise. There was a cute little cafe for breakfast. The hotel was directly on the beach. Valet parking was fast and efficient.

The pool was filthy. There were dirty dishes and old plates of food. The birds were everywhere and the droppings were disgusting. I had no idea that the room was privately owned. The chairs on the patio were unraveling. I went to the desk to tell them, they told me it was a privately owned condo and could not help me. The room number was 1004. I would never have done that had I known. Nothing on booking.com indicated that.

When I arrived they told me I did not book through the hotel and that I booked with a private person that I would have to contact if I had any issues or questions. The room was terrible the patio furniture was all torn so I couldn’t sit on the patio, the fridge didn’t work again they wouldn’t help, there was no hot water, I was not provided any toiletries and when I asked they said I would need to pay for them so I had to go out and buy toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner & soap. I had limited access to the hotel amenities they told me because I booked with a private person. I told them I booked with booking.com. They charged me a resort fee each day and I showed them I paid for that in my price when I booked they still charged me. They charged me a departure fee of $120 and they said I would have to pay if I wanted housekeeping to clean the room each day so I had to keep my trash in my room for days. The door to the room looked like it had been kicked in because the wood was all split down the frame, my door did not lock so my husband and I couldn’t go out anywhere together because of that issue. I spoke to the hotel and I got the same answer I’ll have to call the private party I booked through. They told me my room was an Airbnb and that I didn’t book with booking.com I showed them my confirmation but they did not care. When I was checking out they charged me and additional $300 for resort fees, departure fee and a fee for parking and I didn’t even have a car with me. The room was dirty the bed was awful and this was not right that I had to go through so much when I did book with Booking.com the additional fees they charged me was outrageous and I shouldn’t have had to endure all of these issues when I was a paid guest at this hotel.

I would say the only thing I liked about this place was the view

That booking.com didn’t list the room as being operated by a private owner, so you can’t switch rooms. Room was not throughly clean from previous guest. Shower head was full of grime, black mold is growing in cracks of shower. No hot tub nor sauna in room as in description and tub has rust ring around the drain. If you want new sheets or towels you have to pay for them. It’s even an extra charge if you need more toilet paper, coffee pods or toiletries. Pillows were extra flat and furniture was dirty didn’t even trust to sit on it. Patio furniture was LITERALLY falling apart must use towel to be somewhat comfortable due to hole forming in the bottom of chair.
