Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandWe have ordered a pizza from a restaurant close by. After 1 hour of waiting we gave up and said we most probably got ripped off. 3 hours later the reception phoned to our room saying the pizza have been at the reception for atleast 3 hours and she tried calling to our room. The receptionist was extremely unfriendly when I collected the takeaway. Could she not have sent someone up to our room to? We have paid so much for our 1 week stay to be treated this way and this however have changed our whole experience of the stay.
Clean, spacious room, loved the urban deco. Hotel location is central with access to restaurants, shops etc. Cleaning staff were amazing.

Italythe AC was a little bit noisy and although this is a 100% non smoking hotel not all the clients of the hotel respects it..the room near us did smoke at the balcony and we could literally smell it from our room even with closed balcony door because it was so adiacent
a nice minimalist place to stay and close to many attractions. Friendly staff, we had a free upgrade to a cozy room with balcony and requested a late checkout which they accomodated. I loved the heating floor in the cr. I could literally stay there for hours.

United StatesDon't bother paying more for a balcony. It's too small for a chair. You can only stand and look at the street. The balcony wasn't clean.
I've stayed here before and chose to go back. The employees are always very nice. The location is great. It's not too noisy but there was work on the street you could hear.

United StatesI chose this hotel because of location and it being a Tapestry Collection hotel. My room (15th fl) was not street facing and it was quiet, I didn't hear doors slamming either. The rooms are small but perfect for my stay. I had queen size room that came with a mini fridge and pod coffee machine. The bed was comfortable, black out curtains worked, tv offered streaming services, good outlets by the bed. There wasn't a work space/desk in the room but I didn't need it. The shower was nice, a rain type with detachable hand held piece. There's a small Italian restaurant attached to the lobby. I didn't try it but the menu looked good. I don't know if there's a gym or other amenities.

United StatesThe location was not bad but it will take 20min walk to get to 5th avenue. There was no room service and towels were not changed in three days. Also bed was nor really comfortable.
We stayed here for 2 nights it was okay. The room was clean, small(which is Ok for NY). Staff was very friendly. Would recommend if you are not going to stay in the hotel all day.
