How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It felt a bit like the renovated old folks home that it is. Additionally, the road noise from 75 is super loud. Finally our room was really humid. The air conditioning said it was on, but it really didn’t feel like it.
The staff were great. Everyone was very kind. Our room was also very clean.

Some aunts in the bathroom. Boring breakfast. It was always the same. No variety.
Great room with a separate bedroom. And shower. And a parking garage which helps with the heat and bad 5(hail). Friendly staff.

One our room didn’t have a tub, the iron had black and gray fluid leaking out which completely ruined my white dress. So for one of my organization’s all white event I was not in compliance. It was ruined. Also they don’t tell you parking is $25 per day. There isn’t an option to park for free nearby either. Breakfast wasn’t the best and the fresh fruit tasted sour or spoiled. The shower floor seemed painted and it was peeling at the point of direct water contact. My first day of arrival the pool was closing at 10 pm the next day they started the pool would be closed for 2-3 days. They added chemicals, however when they did open it. They didn’t remove all of the leaves.
The location was great. Several of my Sorors and I booked this hotel for a Greek event. Plenty of nearby restaurants.

I booked a double room and got a single bed room. I told the receptionist and she told me they were completely booked and could do nothing about it, despite me not getting the room I payed for. I got there at night and had already been charged so there was nothing I could do about it.

You can hear the busy road on the opposite side of the hotel. It’s not to crazy but still noticeable.
I like how it’s not directly downtown but close enough to enjoy all the attractions. The staff was amazing and breakfast was good but basic. Honestly who doesn’t like a basic breakfast to start the day.

Toilet was clogged and addressing the issue took multiple calls as maintenance was unavailable. Manager came up and addressed the issue when it became apparent that maintenqace was not coming.

No restaurant but Cheesecake Factory is on the property. Plan your meals is late arrival.
Our third stay here visiting grandkids. Rather pricey for what you get, but parking in an attached secure garage is comforting, and easy on/off NC Expressway and Northpark Mall a plus.

Odd. Converted facility of some sort. Doesn’t try to be refined but what it is - a value play.
Room nice, good lobby and breakfast bar. Great diverse breakfast people clearly like.

the mattress and the the window shades. Mattress was very lumpy and hard and the shades once pulled down we could not get them back up otherwise the room was excellent!
room was nice and comfortable, really liked the kitchenette but the bed was hard and the room needed newer window blinds breakfast could use more of a selection besides just scrambled eggs and bacon however it dis have fruit and plenty of juices I jut wish it had biscuits, gravy and hash browns and more pastries but overall it was very very clean .
