Extremely poor attention to detail. Nice staff, but clueless with what it means to be in the hospitality world. Incredibly slow service, poorly maintained cleanliness of both common areas and room service, no room service after 8:00pm on Thursday, 10:00pm on weekends, outdated and out of shape rooms, horrible spa.

Good location, intimate scale in an old hacienda style setting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and fresh though for the price very underwhelming. The evening turndown service with treats was something to look forward to though it was skipped one of our theee nights. Disappointing. Biggest disappointment was the restaurant. Hands down the worst breakfast I’ve ever had anywhere. To add salt to the the wound it was expensive. We had planned to have a nice dinner there but after that cancelled the reservations. I never ever send food back and complain but did in this situation. To the server’s credit he handled it very well. Rightfully compted the uneaten egg entree. Between the ridiculously high resort fee and nightly parking (not really necessary as street parking was actually more convenient and easy) it was almost another $100 per night I believe. In brief: I really wanted to love the Colony Palms Hotel and was looking so forward to it but was quite disappointed. Sadly I wouldn’t return as for the price there are much better places. Sorry.

Booked through Bookings.com and no mention at all the property is “PET FRIENDLY “ we had neighbors that showed up at 11pm sat at the table outside our room with champagne (nice choice) but talked so loud like it was the middle of the day but the worst part was they brought their two dogs with them. They were huge dogs and I mean huge! Still no big deal until they started barking at 7:30 am none stop until I banged on the wall. They stopped for about a half hour then started again. Told the front desk at checkout and it was like oh sorry but that’s what happens when it’s a pet friendly resort.

The staff is amazing all but one guy at the front desk everyone else was exceptional. The grounds are amazing the room was super clean and high end amenities. The restaurant was very good,great food choices, drinks were very well done. So relaxing by the pool and at night the outdoor fireplace was a fantastic spot for a quiet drink!

Room so dark I couldn't read. Lighting extremely poor. Room appeared dingy--not what I expect for $500/night. Bathroom large but only 1 sink. No alternative to overhead shower. $45/night "resort fee" for an ordinary swimming pool. Price far exceeds fair value. It's a "gyp joint". Shoddy, dank motel for exorbitant price.

Parking was limited and valet parking was expensive. Our car was covered with the debris and and when they gave it back to us, they didn’t even wipe off the front window so we could drive away. I thought that was tacky. Valet parked it under a tree that just covered our car and leaves and they left it like that I found the front desk representative, with in personal robotic and dismissive of the clientele as though she was doing us a favor at our expense. I found her rude and disrespectful.

The room was attractive and comfortable. It was walking distance to the Main Street and restaurants

The room felt like a cave -- almost no exterior windows except for the tiny bathroom windows. They need more staff at the pool, service was slow. ALL of their parking spots are blocked for valet, so they present that as the only option, but then charge you $35/day for that. For the price, I expected a nicer room, filtered water in room, free parking.

The grounds and outdoor areas are impeccable -- great pool, friendly staff, great fire pits and gardens.

lighting in room very poor, dark and dreary, no full length mirror, was promised yoga but did not have. Was not able to get a table to have a drink at bar. Had a list of rules to sign on registration. Very few room amenities for the high price of the room. Resort fee 45$ a day plus 35$ parking fee. Staff took my stuff off lounge bed saying it could not be saved however saw they did not enforce that rule for other guests. Not even a happy hour!!! Would never recommend this hotel very unsatisfactory

Great room - but the towels were hung across the room from the shower!?! Great restaurant on the premises - BUT NO COFFEE freaking available for those who rise before 8:00!?! Then, no trash cans on the premises for the paper remnants of the coffees and muffins, so the chore was added to the cleaning crew chores?! And, we had to sign an agreement not to bring outside food onto the premises!?! Insane fee for parking our car and no access to that car except via valet? Incomprehensible, unfathomable nonsense

it’s very expensive to stay here and there are not guests allowed nor children yet if yiu don’t grab a. hair by the pool by 8am there is literally no place to sit and you can’t use the pool. I paid $1700 to stay in a beautiful place with a beautiful Pool and I got to use it once because there were no seats if you’re going to limit the amount of people that can use the facilities you should have enough seats for every guest. plan spring’s is hot and I just wanted to use the pool and I couldn’t
