Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesI did not like how stingy the staff was with the complimentary water. You should allow a bottle per day for each person in the room. I also did not feel the front desk staff was friendly. The towels were thin No robe on our room The coffee supplies in our room were not replenished daily The shower design in our room allowed water to leak onto the bathroom floor. The pop up drain in the bathroom sink in our other room was broken

The old world charm of the interior. Every furnishing seems carefully curated. Very well designed. Room is beautiful and clean. The 24-hr gym is convenient and also well equipped. The front desk is friendly, helpful and personable, so is the doorman.

United StatesThe room was cold our first night despite turning up the heat. I barely slept. Maintenance came the next day and fixed it but it still didn’t work well. It was better than night one but since we were checking out the next day, it was manageable.
Very clean, pleasant staff. I’m not sure if all the rooms were as big as ours but our room was spacious and the bathroom was quite large. Nice shower. We were close to our son who lives in the North End. It was only a 20 min walk and close to Quincy Market.

The property was clean and the rooms were spacious. The gym was also quite nice for a hotel, a pleasant surprise.

What a fabulous hotel! We loved the location & the on-site cafe was great for a quick breakfast. We stayed in a Double Queen Suite which was perfect for a group of 4. The sofa bed was comfortable too and the room was very spacious. The staff were outstanding, so friendly and helpful. The complimentary drinks in the lobby on some evenings were a lovely surprise when we got back from our day exploring. Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Shout out to the concierge and the doormen who were especially helpful with our many bags. Would stay again!

Rooms were spectacular. King suite perfect for parents traveling with a toddler, however the toddler didn't sleep well. Needed to sleep in between mom and dad. Shades perfectly blocked out light. And noise level not really a problem. Didn't hear any street celebrations despite Bruins win in playoffs. Location perfect. Most attractions within walking distance. Check in with Edina Mesevic was super efficient, especially since part of the party staying arrived a couple hours later. And Concierge, Ali Erremich, also very helpful

If I were to rate my first visit to any given city I've been to, by the quality of a hotel, the warmth and professional attitude of its staff, I'd hands down put Boston and The Dagny up there, at the top... Lovely, classy, elegant city replicated in this hotel. One of my best stays ever. Loved every minute of my stay. Fully recommended
