This was a nice inexpensive night of lodging. The property could use some updating, but the bed was comfortable, The room was clean. I was only able to get one station on the TV. the Air conditioner kept the room temperature at the level i wanted and was not noisy. There was toast and cereal available in the lobby, and a restaurant next door for a full breakfast

The beds were great, but the chair and pillows could use an update in the near future.

Location was excellent for visiting the state park. The front desk staff was courteous and gave clear directions. Pool was nice and clean. Room was clean,comfortable. We skipped breakfast because we don’t eat sugar cereal and such, but it was nice they offered a little something if you needed it.

the sauna didnt work, bathroom was dirty with black mold, could have used a coffee pot for us earlier raisers to make coffee instead of waiting until 6am for it

The facility is old, walls are thin so noise from people and their pets outside and beside my room filtered through. The room was neat, but needed a good dusting and deep clean. There was a huge spit on the spread, some stray hairs in tub and sink. The toilet seat was broken. And I wasn’t aware they had second floor rooms. Steps are difficult for me. I’d have requested ground floor if I’d known.

It's an older motel. The staff is nice. The indoor heated pool was nice. The light breakfast was fine. The bed was comfortable.

The service was lack luster and inconsiderate. Since there is no coffee pot in room, I expected coffee available in lobby, but they don't provide except for 6-9am with breakfast. When asked if a pot could be made earlier, I was told no. There is no where close to get coffee, so this was frustrating. Disappointed that there was no hot tub. The hot water took a while to become hot. They placed an $80 hold on my CC for incidentals, and told me on check in about my safety. The guy recommended I not use the sliding door to go outside my room to smoke, since I may allow the wind to blow smoke into the room, which would lead to a fine. The whole place was musty, so I didn't appreciate the implication. I felt unwelcome and that I was an inconvenience to them. If they have been victimized by previous guests, I'm sorry for them. But I don't like being treated like I'm the next threat.

The room was spacious with 2 queen beds and a double. It has 3 chairs so we could relax without having to sit in bed. The location and the restaurant next door were perfect.

The walls and ceilings are very thin. Lots of noise from neighboring rooms both next door and above.

On one night of our stay in our ground room floor, there were people staying right above us. You could hear every step they took and every word they said. There is basically no soundproofing between the upstairs and downstairs rooms.

there was no light in the side entrance I was told to use to access my room. the sidewalk to this entrance was poorly shoveled and was icy. the TV remote wasn’t working. there was only one thin blanket on the bed so I had the turn the heat way up which is not a comfortable way for me to sleep. there appeared to be only coffee available at the continental breakfast and I’m a tea drinker. also I didn’t see any fruit. oatmeal is usually offered which I also didn’t see. I am gluten intolerant so waffles and toast are out for me.

The breakfast quality was not good and the coffee ran out, no one around to ask for more. The hotel is a bit run down.

The back building is not visible from the street, so pretty surprised when you go around the corner and see where you’re actually staying. Very old and run down, odd musty smell.

The location was good, the motel very disappointing. The description on the internet was probably written years ago. Very misleading.

TLC can help an older facility, but in the end, this is still old, tired building. I would only stay here if no other hotels in the area had space. Which was the case for this trip.

Awesome pool and very friendly helpful staff. It is rare for a hotel to have such a large pool, and we were the only guests using it reach day.
