Breakfast was in the room. It was nice (muffin, fruit and yogurt parfait) but I was just surprised, being from the southeast where "B&B" means a hot breakfast in the dining room. I definitely would have paid more for a chance to eat with other guests in that gorgeous, historic dining room.

Incredibly gorgeous, historic building. We stayed in the carriage house which was nice and we were still invited to come over to the mansion itself, which was SO gorgeous that next time I will try to book a room in the main mansion. It was lovely to walk around the mansion and grounds, and the owner gave some historic info that was really interesting. I appreciated that the attic was made available so that we could get to the INCREDIBLE stained glass tower where we spent at least a half-hour just enjoying the morning sunlight through the colored glass panes.

Absolutely nothing!!!

The Empress is an amazing bed and breakfast. Every room, every piece of furniture, every single thing is exquisite! The decor has been done with such care and tenderness that the house transforms you and everyone who enters right back to the 1800’s ❤️. The hosts Antonio and Keith are FABULOUS! I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the Little Rock area.

The house is absolutely gorgeous! Antonio and Kevin have taken such great care of this historic house, you can tell they love having guest experience the beauty of the house. We were welcomed warmly and enjoyed the tour. Our bedroom was lavish and comfortable but the real gem was the bathtub- I could have stayed in it for hours!

I didn’t dislike anything, but a mini fridge in the suite would be nice. Regular “unflavored” coffee upstairs would also be a plus. Thanks Antonio!!

What a special breakfast the Empress staff provided. They arranged it for a time that worked for me. I highly recommend you come see The Empress. It’s more than a place to stay; it’s an experience!

Nothing/ It’s perfect and definitely a sight to see for everyone.

Breakfast was server as if I was royalty. The warm biscuits taste as if they were made from scratch. Just like my grandma use to make. Also served with creamy scrabbled eggs and perfectly made gravy. Location is a typical downtown area but felt safe. The house is unbelievably perfect and maintained so well its hard to believe it was from the 1800’s. House was very clean and makes you feel so special. Even the gardens are very well planned and well kept. The whole place in magical and the owner is a delight to converse with. Best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed!! I would definately go back if in the area.
