Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesCoffee ran out very quickly in the morning. Community coffee was put out at 7:30 a.m. each morning. It was completely gone by 8 a.m.. The restaurant was super cold. The spa was located in the basement, and definitely was not worth the money they were charging. The spa located in the basement definitely seemed like something that was thrown together after the fact. As a person who does a lot of spa treatments while on vacation I definitely would not put this on the top of my list. The room was exceptionally cold and you could hear the chairs of the restaurants scraping around above you. It made it very difficult to relax We did a couples massage, one of us had a fantastic therapist, the other was not so much.
The staff was extremely friendly and the food in the restaurant was delicious

United StatesThe room was dark and we couldn’t open our windows. The bedding was heavy and dark. The room decor was drab. We couldn’t find a place to sit in rockers. There wasn’t much of a view from the porches. There was nowhere to hang out except our room.
The restaurant server at breakfast was Lisa. She was fantastic! The dinner we had was good.

United StatesWent there to have a relaxing day, was upset that the Jets didn't work on Hot tub and was told they had been out for awhile. For the price of everything room, dinner etc. it was ok. Friends saw the picture of dinner on a ad, and I am sorry to say that it didn't live up to expectation. Breakfast was ok, It was some kind of quiche, it was very doughy. Breakfast muffin was excellent. Fruit cup, juice was good. Just should improve on main part, I know it is hard when you don't know how many people etc. It would be better to come away with Wow was that great! We are generally not complainers.
Location was ok, looked at the mountains, beautiful grounds in the front. Excellent massage persons, We both enjoyed that and would come back for another one

1 emailed the property several times the morning of the trip because of a weather advisory . High winds that could gust up to 35 mph. Also it showed the possibility of winter weather. They assured me it was a little windy but snow wasn’t there. I said ok finally but I didn’t want to go there with my 11 yo grandson if any of that was going on. I made 6pm dinner reservations too. we arrived at 6p and was told that the dining room was closed so we had no dinner and the power was out since before 2pm I was told I would lose my money either way because you have to cancel 10 days in advance! I didn’t schedule that far in advance! They said they would give us flashlights and blankets?! A five star place has no generator? we went to the room but decided it was too cold. Temp for the night would be 17 degrees plus wind chill and my grandson already had a cold. we rode 20 mi up the road and stayed at the Hampton Inn. I took the keys back the next am. I was told the power came back on about 1030pm and got an apology but no gift certificate for another stay which I think is awful!! Their PR leaves a lot to be desired!

The property was beautiful and conveniently located with plenty of parking. The fires each night, hot tub and views from the restaurant during breakfast are hard to beat.
