The bathtub/shower arrangement in the main bedroom was a bit awkward. The soap dispensers are up high for the shower. Some of the outlets didn't work.

Lounge area with coffee was great. Kitchen was good. Beds are comfortable. Fireplace was nice although it was too warm to use it. The staff is excellent.

Our second time staying at the Fairmont Ghirardelli Square - absolutely fabulous hotel. Great rooms, friendly staff and awesome location. Short walk to Fisherman’s Wharf, with lots to do and great restaurants around the hotel.

The apartment is beautiful, spacious and the kitchen is completely equipped. Comfortable beds, rooms and bathrooms with a good size. We could feel like we were at home. Location is also very good, valet service is available and Ghirardelli square is an awesome place to spend time.

becareful of the hotel address if you are using it for delivery ( like door dash). the address is for THE WHOLE PLAZA. so if you are planning to have your meal delivered to your room, check with the front desk to give you the closest address to the hotel entry.

i stayed in the hotel with my family durning our summar vacation and I was so glad i stayed in the hotel. the hotel, the plaza, and the location are exceptional. everything is within walking distance especially the fishermen wharf. my kids loved the plaza and the chocolate factory. it is safe to stay with your family. if we are going to visit SF next year, we will have the hotel to be in our plan.

Amazing apartment with lovely big rooms and bathrooms and a well set up kitchen. Free coffee and fortune cookies in the lobby was great. Location perfect for exploring San Francisco close to Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf and the Cable Car stops.

Quite expensive, but overall worth it.

Decor was lovely. Well stocked, highly functional kitchen. Very clean. Staying across the square from the Chocolate Experience was quite a thrill for our 11 year old.

First room didn’t have any WiFi or TV. They wanted us to stay in the room anyway and took us complaining that with kids we needed a room with WiFi and TV. They eventually agreed for us to move rooms.

It would have been nice if there had been a breakfast restaurant area in the hotel, instead of having to go out most days.

We had a three bedroom suite which was excellent, high quality and good facilities for our visit. Great for our family to have a common area to sit down and eat in the room while still having the home comforts. Quality of the facilities was great and the staff were super helpful

Front of hotel was quite tricky to find, and must valet car. No heated floor in the apartment, even in summer can feel very cold.

Asked for quite room. Room was next to cafe sitting area on ground floor but room was sound proof, did not here any noise from outside. Friendly staffs.Had staffs cleaned the room as we were staying for 4 nights. 10-15 min walk to pier 39. Easy to get uber.

No food options available inside the hotel - not even breakfast. With a toddler and elderly family members, a breakfast option could have been more convenient.

The Location can't be better! Has an internal access to Ghirardelli Square, walking distance to Fisherman wharf. The room size is excellent, with a spacious Living- Dining room, it even has washer-dryer! Staff is very helpful and courteous. Valet parking is very helpful.
