Cost. Lack of catered amenities.

The hotel was perfectly fine, but the value of $400 per night was seriously lacking. It met my needs but for that price I expected A LOT more.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, immaculate, and very comfortable. We had dinner at the Oaken Bistro and it was outstanding.

There was no microwave in the room and the nearest one (outside of going to the lobby) was at the very end of the hallway and there was only one on each floor. The mini-fridge didn't have a freezer, which wasn't a huge problem but I didn't think to check before buying the ice cream from the 24 hour mini-mart in the lobby, so I had to eat it right away since there was no where to store it.

The room was extremely clean and modern. There was no password needed for the wi-fi, which was a HUGE plus (I always have trouble getting signed in at other hotels). The on-site restaurant actually had really good food. There weren't a lot of options on the menu, but what we ordered was very tasty. The bar in the lobby stayed open until midnight (kitchen closed at 10pm) and the drinks were strong and tasty!

We thought the hotel was closer to the shopping area so we would be able to walk around, but we were able to grab an uber when we needed one.

My sister and I stayed at The Forester for a friend's wedding. Great room and staff. The on-site restaurant has breakfast and dinner options and it's affordable. Lots of shopping and places to eat about 10 minutes away including a mall. The rooms are modern and clean and the staff is always willing to help. We had a great time.

they had a fire alarm test but failed to tell us about it. our reservation said we had breakfast included but they indicated that this was a booking.com error. After much discussion, they honored the booking invoice and gave us breakfast.

I already mentioned the coffee service above. Rooms, especially for the disabled, should be equipped with a microwave to warm things up. Lastly the A/C in the room was either cold or hot. I was in 401 and that needs adjustment/repair.

The food was good but they need to give the customers a hand held menu. Looking at an Ipad is not for everyone. Also, one source of dissatisfaction is the coffee. Make it available ALL Day, not only a few hours in the morning. Lastly, serve the coffee with milk or cream, not soy milk.

I have no complaints. It was a great experience.

Brand new facility and wonderful staff. I really just needed a quick place to stay overnight, but the staff made me feel so welcome that I now look forward to coming back. Perfect place for anyone traveling for work, in particular, near this location. Quiet, very nice rooms, close to downtown Lake Forest and highway.

The floor could have been cleaned, dust was around the beds. We also couldn’t use Netflix because it wasn’t working. The only other downside was the ice machines weren’t on every floor. And no pool

hotel did not seem full, yet when we left to attend an event nearby on Friday afternoon 1:00,and returned around 8:00pm, the beds had not been made nor towels picked up i.e. housekeeping. we had removed the “do not disturb” hanger.

Very short on service and attempt to be friendly. Not that I really needed it but you can tell when a place is really welcoming and when it is not. I went down to ask where I could buy a pen or borrow a pen. They said we do not use them and do not have any. Finally, she reluctantly found one.
