Staff were not very friendly and gave no help to find our room or give hotel info etc on check in. It also felt like we were bothering rooftop bar staff to be served and were ignored for some time although we were one of only two parties there at the time.

Room was very nice and clean, but quite small for the cost. Downstairs restaurant and rooftop bar were very pretty. Perfect location.

It’s loud city hotel. I’ve been on week day so didn’t hear a roof party only one thing I scared when read reviews.

The staff... Pretty much everyone (except for housekeeping) were somewhere between ignoring to rude. Definitely made our feelings 50% down compared to what it could have been. Front desk unfriendly, rooftop bar literally ignoring. I don't think I'd return and it's only because of the staff. Expect rooms to be really small. Liveable, but very small. You need to self-park in one of the garages in the surrounding streets unless you want to valet, which is really expensive.

Hotel is definitely very nice, looks almost brand new. Feels luxurious from the moment you enter the lobby until the very end. Room was perfectly clean, very nicely furbished, quiet and comfortable.

The staff at reception is not welcoming, team not knowing what they have to offer is simply no excuse! Nobody should care if they are not from the direct area, just educate yourself on the job. the valet team is the best though!

The beds will keep you in the room forever! Loved the shower with good pressure and the esthetic is great

Service was a bit inconsistent.

I recently stayed at the Godfrey Hotel Hollywood for a four-night trip and had a mixed experience. The hotel is located in a great area, just a short walk from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Chinese Theatre, which made it easy to explore the local attractions. The rooftop lounge and pool area were definite highlights, offering fantastic views of the Hollywood sign and the city skyline. The hotel itself is stylish and modern, with a chic boutique feel. My room was clean and well-decorated, but it was notably small. There was barely enough space for two people with luggage, and storage options were limited. Additionally, the noise from the rooftop nightclub was quite disruptive at night, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs or request a quieter room. While the cleaning staff and pool attendants were friendly and helpful, the front desk staff could have been more welcoming and attentive. For example, a simple request for a late checkout came with a hefty $75 fee, which felt excessive. Overall, the Godfrey Hotel Hollywood offers a stylish stay in a convenient location, but potential guests should be aware of the small room sizes and possible noise issues. Despite some service shortcomings, the rooftop amenities and central location make it a good choice for those looking to explore Hollywood.

Parking is so expensive, we ended up using a parking lot around the corner, also didn’t know there were resort fees!

Very clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice coffee from the bar, great that you get a small voucher to spend there! Gym is 24/7, rooftop is nice! Nice spot for visiting L.A!

There is lots of street noise in rooms, we were on 2 different sides of hotel. My teenager had a nightclub below them and could hear music all night and we had sirens and street noise on our side all night. we also could have been given a room closer to each other.

The room itself was a little small (difficult to lay out luggage) and you can hear traffic pretty loud at night.

Great place to stay in Hollywood. The hotel looks newly decorated and has pool, gym, valet parking, rooftop and cute courtyard. And, it wasn’t too difficult to find street parking in the area (if you want to avoid valet price). Staff members were very friendly.

Place is luxury, location is decent with good food choices around, heaps of parking around the street just look for it rather than doing valet for $50.

The rooms are very small, not much room. There is no where to store your suitcase within the room. It is in a good location but you will still need a car or taxis to get to places.

The hotel itself is lovely. The pool area on the roof is amazing with 360 incredible views. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The ALK restaurant is also really nice. Within walking distance of the Chinese Theatre.

Reception staff were not the most friendly. No real welcome and thank you for staying. If you want a slightly late check out (up to 1 hour) there’s a 75 dollar charge.
